In this episode, I talk with pastor Joel Webbon from Right Response Ministries. We talk about how many of us have made huge transitions from Acts 29 to post mill covenant theology, and why that trend is happening. We also talk about Aimee Byrd, the slippery slope to feminism that is complementarianism, and why biblical masculinity is needed in the pulpit today.Notes: Right Response YouTube. The majority of Americans have been catechized to believe that psychologists are the experts when it comes to happiness and human flourishing. But as Abigail Shrier says in her new book, "Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren't Growing Up," it's probably true that psychologists are the last people on earth to consult about how to raise healthy kids. Why is that?In this episode, I talk with pastor Dan Berkholder about why psychotherapeutic methodologies are so anti-Christian and do more harm than goo...
In this episode, I'll talk about why we should ridicule what is ridiculous and why we should smash idols in public. In particular, we'll talk about the three daughters of feminism—three visions for womanhood—that need to be dismantled. They are what I'm calling Girl Boss, Inc., Taylor Swift, and Yoga Pants. In Judges 6, Gideon was raised up by the Lord to fight against the Midianites, but first, he was called to smash his father's idol in the public square and to replace it with the altar of t...
In his book, The Silver Chair, C.S. Lewis tells an interesting story about a dilapidated school run by a woman trying to be a Head. She is a picture of what happens when women are wrongly put in places of rule, and how weaponized empathy controls an environment—and eats it alive. We'll talk about male headship, why it is necessary, and why women aren't made to rule in home, church, or society.Sign up for the New Christendom Press Conference in June 2024.Join the Patreon exclusive membership.1...
In this episode, I talk with Charles Haywood about his term, No Enemies to the Right (NETTR), and the updated version, No Enemies On the Right (NEOTR). It's not uncommon today to see conservatives attacking each other, but we talk about why guarding the right flank isn't the best strategy for winning the culture war.We also talk about Charles' writings on Franco and a recent review he did of Camp of the Saints and why it matters to the immigration discussion today, as well as the rebuilding o...
In this episode, I talk with Dustin Diefenderfer, Founder of MTNTOUGH Fitness, about his journey from the missionary fields of Africa to training the ultimate outdoor athletes on the mountain. We talk about overcoming adversity, honing mental toughness, and pushing through mental roadblocks. Dustin has built training programs with the help of Special Forces soldiers, hunted some of the most rugged backcountry wilderness areas imaginable, and hails from the great state of Montana. We also talk ...
When you picture a family business, do you think of bulletproof vests and ballistic protection? That's the unique world Alex Stewart of Premier Body Armor and I explored as we unraveled the company's journey from a small metal shop to the forefront of personal armor. Our conversation took us through the transformation of protective gear, touching on the practicality of innovations like the everyday armor t-shirt bundle—a favorite of mine for its unobtrusive defense—and the clever inclusion of...
I'm joined by pastor Dan Berkholder to discuss Tucker Carlson's interview with Vladimir Putin, and why it's significant that Putin talked for 30 plus minutes about the history of Russia. Among other things, Tucker said Moscow is a beautiful city, unlike those in America. Why do we tolerate crime and filth in our streets? As it turns out, we might just prefer it. We also discuss the 'He Gets Us' Super Bowl ads, why Christians prefer badness, and how our woke regime-aligned leaders in the...
We live in soft, comfortable world today in the West. At least most of us do. In this episode, we're going to talk about the hard virtues of physical courage and toughness—something embodied in one of the greatest MLB pitchers of all time, Nolan Ryan. They called him Big Tex. The Nolan Express. He pitched a record-setting 7 no hitters. In his early days, he threw a blistering 108-MPH fastball. In this episode, we'll explore the manly toughness of Nolan Ryan.Sign up for the New Christendo...
Larry McMurtry's book, Lonesome Dove, earned him a Pulitzer prize. The author was a master at unpacking relational dynamics in engaging prose. In this episode, we talk about how July Johnson embodies the failures of the soft Mr. Nice Guy. We also talk about practical steps for me to stand up to their wives, which is the only recipe for a happy home. We'll dissect the compelling interplay between characters like Gus McCray and Woodrow F. Call, offering profound reflections on life through thei...
As the Taylor Swift X saga continues, it's interesting to note that her father, her producers, and the support staff around Taylor are largely comprised of—wait for it—men. In this episode, we'll unpack just how God has ordered the world and how patriarchy, like Thanos claimed about himself, is inevitable. Rush Limbaugh talked about girls softening their conservative fathers. The Daily Mail covered my tweet, which now has 22.5 million impressions. Newsweek also weighed in. ...
A recent tweet of Eric's went viral on Twitter/X, which at the time of this post, had reached over 10 million impressions. What gives? Taylor Swift appeared on TIME magazine as "Person of the Year," scantily clad and with a cat draped around her neck. It may be the perfect picture of today's feminine ideal, but it's also heinously destructive for women, families, and society. We discuss in this week's episode. In this episode we talk about a father's duty to protect his daughter's sexuality, ...
Who gets to define the boundaries of acceptable language in Christian circles? Why does the Christian community appear to be divided by the use of strong language? Join me and my co-host, Pastor Dan Burkholder as we tackle these thought-provoking questions. In this episode, we interrogate Kevin DeYoung's critique of the so-called 'Moscow mood,' as embodied by the outspoken Christian leader Doug Wilson. Delving into the discourse, we dissect DeYoung's arguments, offering our own insights, as w...

All the while, we don't shy away from critiquing Pearcey's work, pointing out b...

I cannot roll my eyes any harder - trad men are the absolute *worst," I'm so fucking tired of these parasites. They are utterly empty inside, so they have to leech every bit of their identity and self esteem out of women. I don't give a fuck how "angry and dangerous" this try-hard pretends to be, I don't give a fuck about their whiny entitlement - if you want to claim chimp instincts, then chimp the fuck up, go live in the fucking jungle, and leave women the fuck alone. We're fine without you.

Disappointing discussion with Sorbo. He was there to plug his book in between tired talking points. Not much new from him.

Hey, I heard you mentioned Casey's breakfast pizza. That is a staple of the Midwest diet! But actually all of their pizza is good so if you ever need to road trip through Iowa or Nebraska again, stop and get lunch or supper at Casey's. their food is half the reason there's at least one Casey's in every Midwest town.

An inspired episode, truly. Thanks, Eric, for interviewing who no one else will and is yet a trove of older, feminine wisdom.

During your discussion around the 1:10 minute mark you asked about women teachers. I would like to recommend Heidi St John. She's got Off the Bench podcast, MomStrong ministry, and a ministry promoting homeschooling, I've never heard her say anything that she couldn't back up with a right reading of scripture.

Neutered?? Sounds like sexual abuser speak for "I can't get away with harassing women anymore, I actually have to behave like a godly man now". what planet is this dude from? Certainly not earth, where porn is a normalized epidemic, sexual harassment is seen as nothing to condemn, more and more men are sexually aroused by children, incest, and choking their partners, sex trafficking exists, and rapists still reign free and are even elected into positions of power. I am not sure how this guy became a pastor but it's clear he is more interested in worshipping himself and his testosterone and other pagan, worldly notions than Jesus Christ, in whom we are all equal and all held to the same standard. I hope he can find peace in Him and eventually come to know Him.

The world isn't soft *enough*. At least, not in the right ways. The fragile egos of sinful men are why we have incels and MGTOWs who think sexual rejection equals male oppression, why women having basic rights means the world is somehow out to get men (who are largely the ones who controlled society to get the world in the state it is in) and other such self-victimizing nonsense. Biblical men do not quake at the thought of women being their equals as you do, do not cry "gynocentrism!!!!" because the world doesn't revolve around coddling them and their feelings above everyone else. Biblicl manhood is unconditionally loving your wife, treating women with utmost love and respect and equality as Jesus did, not throwing tantrums because of it. (And I'm positive I'll get a comment or two proving this correct.) Sorry, not interested in this pagan, self-centered victim mentality rhetoric you've got going on.
