I never had the privilege of doing any training in modern glass cockpit. All old steam gauges. I remember my instrument was in actual IFR conditions. No fog goggles for me. It was tough, had never flown in actual conditions. In any aircraft that I fly that isnt the jet or a turboprop it's at least an extra 300 ft on altitude and at least another 1/4 mile on the vis above mins. Has worked out good so far.
Been listening to these while driving in prep for my checkride. listening to the holds episode, wanted to let you know I was issued one last week on my long xcountry.
Thanks! Good brain exercise.
