As we start to set boundaries around media, we need to make clear that we love our kids, even when they don’t follow the rules we put in place. We don’t want them to feel as if a boundary is more important that our relationship with them. There will be consequences, but we need to express our love for them. Parents need to put away their screens around their kids. They need to model what they want their kids to do. It comes down to having intentional family conversations around media and screens.
