We're here for an intimate show rubbing each other's shoulders and chatting about the Fallout tv show (no spoilers!), and also Pepper Grinder, The Planet Crafter, Shinkasen 0, whether a new GPU makes more sense than a PS5 Pro, and more! This week's music:  Architects - Curse
It's a slow week release wise but we still find a lot to talk about, including Suika game, Dragon's Dogma 2, Autoforge, Interior Worlds, Millenia, and more - including some mild ranting about who's ultimately responsible for game consoles struggling at the moment.  This week's music:  Nirvana - All Apologies (unplugged)
We're back and mostly intact from GDC as we dig into the industry trends and trajectories that have got publishers, developers, and us nervous, but we also talk about games, including Death of a Reprobate, Darkwebstreamer, Hyper Light Breaker, The Axis Unseen, and a lot more, plus we talk Dragon's Dogma 2 and read some of your emails.  This week's music:  ZHU, BANKS, bludnymph - Praise
We're late, we're sorry, but we're here now, and we love you. We've got chit-chat about Rise of the Ronin, the new Outcast game, James Cameron's new 4K Blu-rays, and even answer some emails.  This week's music:  Scowl - Opening Night

We're here and we're talking about all the service games, like Helldivers, and Enshrouded, and Nightengale, and ... Princess Peach Showtime? Ok they aren't all service games. We also talk about Ripout and the new Contra game, and a bit more.  This week's music:  Ari Abdul - DFHMPU
It was a week full of news for just about every console manufacturer and believe it or not, it's all probably related. We go deep into Xbox news, PlayStation news, and some last-minute Nintendo news, plus a couple of games to boot.  This week's music:  Coheed & Cambria - A Favor House Atlantic
This week it's a bit of a shorter show, but we still find plenty of time to chat about Helldivers 2, Steam Next Fest, why building PCs sucks, and, yes, a bit about the Xbox stuff.  This week's music:  Imminence - Continuum
This week the big topic of conversation is, obviously, Suicide Squad - what's good, what's bad, and how the hell this happened, plus where we think the game is headed. But we also find time to talk a lot about the awesome indie roguelike-strategy game Quasimorph, and plenty more.  This week's music:  Alkaline Trio - Bad Time
This week we're pretty bummed out and also pissed off about layoffs and the costs of acquisitions, but we're here, so we might as well talk about some games, including Palworld, Enshrouded, Go Mecha Ball, Lords of the Fallen, and more.  This week's music:  Sunny Day Real Estate - Novum Vetis
It's a quieter week release wise, but we still find plenty to talk about, including Xbox's upcoming slate (and the rumors that just refuse to die), Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, First Cut: Samurai Duel, and a lot more.  This week's music:  Chelsea Wolfe - Everything Turns Blue
This week we're back with a lot of CES to talk about, including some hands-on time with MSI's new Claw handheld, lots of up close impressions about new monitors and that fancy new transparent OLED, plus Matt chats about the making of the just-announced Grounded 2 documentary charting the 7 year journey of The Last of Us Part 2's development (and we also talk about Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, The Gnorp Analogue, and more).  This week's music:  Royal Blood - Supermodel Avalanches

This week we don't have too many games but still manage to talk a lot, about things like Death Must Die, movies this year, what big leaks should tell gamers about the industry and what to expect, and we share a personal moment too. We hope you have a happy and safe new year and an amazing 2024 <3
This week we manage to talk about a ton of games, because in 2023, even December can't stop the games from blasting us in the face. This week that includes Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Witchfire, Against the Storm, While the Iron's Hot, Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, and we talk about rumors, who you can believe, and read some of your emails.  This week's music:  Of Mice and Men - Castaway
We're together again to talk a lot about The Game Awards - the good, the bad, the absolutely unsurprising, and what we might change if we could. Plus we talk about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and more.  This week's music:  Elvis Drew - Make Me Feel
This week we're just two guys digging in to Steamworld Build, and some other stuff as well — but mostly Steamworld Build. We also debate the definition of indie games and studios with the viewpoint of someone working at a studio that was independent but is now owned by a major publisher, plus plenty more! This weeks music:  Allie X - Girl With No Face
We're back and largely on time as we dig in a little more on the gaming handhelds after some extended traveling, the new PS5 (and maybe a little about what it might mean for the PS5 Pro), go back in time with Stellaris, Dave the Diver, Dredge, and more.  This week's music:  Muse - Map of the Problematique
This week we're fresh off extra life and talking about Jusant, Robocop, the brand new OLED Steamdeck and how it stacks up against Lenovo's Legion Go and the Rog Ally Extreme, plus a fair bit more! This week's music:  Linkin Park - Crawling
This week we're talking even more about Super Mario Bros. Wonder before getting into the rough launch of Cities Skyline 2, the highs and lows of Alan Wake 2 (and a little complaining about game reviews, get excited), Metal Gear Solid, plus plenty more.  We're doing Extra Life again this year! Go to to donate and watch on November 4th!  This week's music:  Chelsea Wolfe - Whispers in the Echo Chamber

Normal enemies are giving you more trouble than bosses because last episode you said that you use spirit summons to attack the bosses and you go slash their back and then run away and you don’t have that option for normal enemies. And the he brags about how easy the game is and how good he is at it. Well that’s why.

Same been a day 1 subscriber and 1up fan since before the collapse. These guys are knowledgeable and can have conflicting opinions which makes great discussions and they speak their minds unlike other gaming podcasts in fear of offending developers and their fans. Each host has different tastes and backgrounds in the industry. No gimmicks,no ads, fact full and to the point. Best gaming podcast out put there.!
