OJ Simpson died, which depending on how you felt about him is a good or bad thing. Regardless, he was a really weird dude and was responsible for the biggest media circus anyone had ever seen up to that point during a formative time in our teen years. This week we look back on a bad guy’s weird life. For weekly episodes of Books: The Podcast and much, much more check out the TCGTE Patreon!Like the show? Everybody's losing their minds about the solar eclipse that's happening this week, super excited that the sun will be blocked by the moon for a few minutes. One thing is for sure -- you definitely shouldn't look at it because it's dangerous, despite what some idiot podcaster might say.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
“Free continental breakfast.” Are there three more beautiful words in the English language? This week, Tim’s fresh off the plane from Hollywood and thinks he’s too good for them now. We did an episode on Wendy's last week and neglected to talk about Dave Thomas, the "Where's the Beef?" lady or the attractive woman they had play Wendy in commercials in the 2010s (aka "Sexy Wendy"). We regret the oversight, and offer you this episode where we talk about all that stuff, and Tom contemplates adopting a new lifestyle.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Wendy’s is in the news for trying to use AI to price gouge their customers and we’re here to talk about it.. We also discuss their (mostly) pretty great menu and take a trip down Frescata Lane. If you’re expecting us to talk about Frosty’s or Dave Thomas though, you’re gonna have to wait until next week. For weekly episodes of Books: The Podcast and much, much more check out the TCGTE Patreon!Like the show? There's a new ridiculous thing in Las Vegas, and it's a big ball that plays videos. This week we're talking about Sphere (not the Sphere, thank you very much), the immersive event venue that makes going to a U2 concert feel like you're on drugs. We also talk about local Long Island musician Billy Joel's new song.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Well, it's time to wave goodbye to 2023 and then turn around and wave hello to 2024. It's another holiday week, so we're doing another very special (and very low-lift) Gauntlet episode. What's that, you ask? We asked our Patreon supporters for topic ideas, and in this episode we're once again going through them and deciding which will be future episodes and which ones will go to hell. Merry Christmas.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
’Tis the season, so this week we’re talking about the top Christmas songs of all time. We also find out that Thanksgiving songs exist and that Christmas song trivia is kinda boring. But before anything else, Tom has a very important hypothetical situation for Tim.For weekly episodes of Books: The Podcast and much, much more check out the TCGTE Patreon!Like the show? AND I wish I could still buy an access to Patreon. still really sad I can't do it now
I'm listening to you guys from Russia and I don't like our soldiers too, so that's ok I've been listening for years though
congratulations!!
Buffets episode. You guys are always good but this one was the best so far. I'm off to buy some loose fitting clothes.
wanted to give these guys a go and listen to this episode about Mars Missions. I gave up because they just waffled on too long about irrelevant nonsense. Guys ... if you want to have a personal conversation then do it outside the podcast.
If you’re hoping to hear something you didn’t know about spring, don’t bother. If you want to listen to 2 weirdly nostalgic white man children entertain each other this is for you. Sayonara

My go to podcast when I want to relax and have a laugh. It's like listening to two mates chatting.
14:55
This show is hilarious. Tim and Tom hare a really good comedy dynamic, which is affectionately mocking and has a... smooth flow? They never fail to make me laugh and although their bond exhibits banter they are never mean spirited... lonesome times fly by in their company!
I've been a listener for years, I love this show. It's 2 pals loosely chatting about the subject and generally being funny. So many of these reviews complaining have totally missed the point of this, it's a hang out show. I recommend the Billy Joel ep as a good stand alone/introductory episode. Enjoy!
Omg I luv it so hilarious, the people posting comments like “waste of time” JUST don’t get it but it’s amazing 👍🏻
:)
my IQ dropped to the level of a wombat by the first 2 minutes...
This is utter nonsense! I can't even believe it. I would go hang out at the bus station if I wanted to hear 2 high millennials sitting on a bench & jabber about nothing.
All of the comments from people who are clearly missing the joke, make the show that much funnier! This is my favorite comedy podcast
I'm not sure how I sat through this entire episode. You guys are like low budget SYSK
first time listener. and Def last time. what a load of useless dribble
thanks for so very many years of great podcasts!
12:18 still no word about libraries. I give up.
