Mitch is from Burlington, Iowa and, with help from a friend, decided to be a Hawkeye over a Cyclone after his Junior year of Football. He went on to become a Freshman All American, a 1st Team All American his senior year, and racked up plenty of tackles and awards in between. Steve is from Crofton, MD and joined the 2013 Iowa Football recruiting class as a Fullback out of Archbishop Spalding HS as a fellow Walkon. One of those unsung heroes Steve didn't see any action on the field but busted his ass day in and day out as an Iowa Hawkeye behind the scenes, and after our 4th season hung up the cleats for the career that he said he would always pursue, and is fully enveloped in today, Pro Wrestling. Steve tells us about his journey in the wrestling world over the last 7 years going from shows in front of a couple of people for 5 dollars a night, to now wrestling multiple times a weekend in front of crowds 500 people deep all across the country and internationally as well. The Hawks defeated UConn in dramatic fashion in the Final Four to advance and take on South Carolina in the National Title game.
