Cognitive Dissonance is something I first learned about in college and it really resonated with me. Now, I know the term might sound a bit scary, but trust me, it’s actually quite the opposite. If we could all have a greater source of income without putting in more effort, we would all say yes. Yet, we often have preconceived judgments about people with money. In today’s episode, I explore one aspect of money that you can work on: money hating and how it significantly impacts your finances.   Discover why hating on people with money is keeping you without money, and the different ways you can work to shift your mindset. You’ll learn how to be less judgmental, the outcomes when you are, and why your perception of people with money matters more than you might think.   Get full show notes and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/447
Have you felt overwhelmed and unable to do something, but at the same time, hesitant to ask for help? Perhaps you were afraid the person you asked would say no, or that you’d be judged for not being able to handle the task at hand on your own.    This week, you’re hearing a coaching segment from The Lab with my client who was struggling at her job, unable to figure out why she wasn’t willing to ask for help at work. We’re exploring her current thought model and the power of owning where you’re at, even if it means being messy, vulnerable, and afraid.   Get full show notes and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/446
As a coach, my goal is always to help people become empowered. Empowerment is the best gift I can give my clients, and today, I’m exploring what prevents us from feeling empowered, and what I’ve observed about the journey to becoming empowered.   I'm breaking down the four stages people go through on their journey to empowerment and what each stage looks like. You’ll hear how this journey is often not linear, what happens when we feel disempowered, and why empowerment is what truly serves us best.   Get full show notes and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/445
Have you ever felt like life wasn’t fair? I definitely have. We’ve all been there. We’re taught from a young age that life isn’t fair, and while we accept that and know that arguing with this is a waste of time, we still do it every now and then.   Tune in this week to hear some real coaching with a real client about a situation that they perceive to be unfair. This particular client is dealing with some issues related to child support, but there is value in this episode for anyone dealing with an unfair situation who just wants a fair outcome for everyone involved.   Get full show notes and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/444

It’s frustrating listening to an episode for the first time about not beinng judgmental and hearing judging words about the occupation of cutting hair in the middle of this podcast. As a hair stylist, it’s hurtful when you put in hard work and people think you have a “rough” life or that you don’t make any money from your occupation. Also- it’s a barber shop or a salon. Not a hair cutting place.

its important to realize that our thoughts have a value, and that they were not free. we have to pay attention to the solar system and try to believe that they are angels among us. (planets are angels.) and they offer us inspiration to live up to, but inspiration is not free. our identity has the opportunity to develop with these angels, but its not free.

I am a man of no faith in God! I listen to your podcast from time to time and I really enjoy your ideas, but, I subscribe to an alternative source for my optimism. I don't believe that its necessary to answer our questions that have no answer with, God. my spiritual orientation is centered by the Sun! I have learned that our solar system satisfies my questions that Christians ignore for fear of becoming modern. our walk with the solar system as a human being is important for our success after we expire! I believe that in this life we score points for our participation, and that this life counts for our success after we die. can you add to my understanding?

Love this podcast. I've always been told I have a choice in how I react, this explains how to do that, how to feel different. Thank you! Another thought, you mentioned not loving your wardrobe - check out 'dressing your truth' - I actually love my wardrobe since trying out her method.
