Sekiro Shadows Die Twice

A return to...form(???) Jimmy and Daniel (remember Daniel?) talk about a video game a year after it came out. CLASSIC META'D. Let's chat about the newest game by From Software, Sekiro.   I'll preface with the fact that Jimmy has not played this game at all so we get Daniel's gameplay perspective and Jimmy's surface-level blabber. We talk about the replayability of the game, overcoming difficult bosses, comparing the environments between Dark Souls, Bloodborne, ANIME and more in this episode! Specific anime shows talked about: Dororo, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and (the one Jimmy couldn't remember the name of) Miss Hokusai! 2022 Edit: Hey! Thanks for checking out this episode! Back in 2016 Paul and Jimmy had recently played through the Oracle games and were a bit salty about them. The main points in this episode go over how a remake should merge the games into one or a reboot should combine them but make a cohesive story that combines elements from both games. Ultimately it comes down to both games being good on their own but the experience of linking them together to get all the items and fight Ganon/Twinrova soured the experience for them by not adequately preparing them for boss fights with less than fair mechanics. Original post: In this episode of META'D, Paul and Jimmy battle trains and Twinrova to break down and analyze the two Gameboy Color games: Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons.   Twitter: https://twitter.com/metadpodcast  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/metadpodcast/  Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs8LhMbixxYCrIvx1Dv5btw Intro/Outro Tunes: John Kim --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/metad-podcast/support

Jimmy has a chat with Thomas Loupe, a man who wears many hats some of which are: Sound Designer, Producer, Composer & Game Designer.     2019 already...okay! Jimmy has a chat with Thomas Loupe (aka First Sun) about music and games. They talk about struggling with imposter syndrome, creating music in general, getting busted for hacking school computers, Garth Brooks, and more in this episode! Sorry about some audio glitches in this episode (mostly my audio being doubled in some parts), podcasting is hard! Most of the music in this episode is by Thomas, check out his stuff!! Tried to figure out how this is "meta-analysis" and came up with: What's more meta than talking with people who create the things we want to talk about? This isn't a traditional episode of Meta'd by any means necessary. Within lies a compilation of various bloopers and outtakes from recording. It's not really in any order nor do we know if it's funny at all (we think we're hilarious btw). These are just some of the many clips of us completely messing up.  This episode will act as a sort of capstone for "Season 1" of Meta'd. Anything after this episode will be different (if there is anything). Thanks for listening. You've been Meta'd.
