I believe the male vampire who got impaled on the steps toward the end of Lifeforce was actor Bill Malin (billed as 2nd Vampire). He does not have a vast number of credits, but I remember him being interviewed on the Reeltime Pictures documentary - I Was A Doctor Who Monster, recalling his time as a Cyberman on Doctor Who - Silver Nemesis.

Great episode. I don't have any trouble separating Season 2 from the superior Season 1, but I have to admit, this is a go to episode for me from S2. It entranced me as a kid. I remember string being cellotaped across my bedroom door, making a barrier with a cooler as the generator...i would have been 7 or so, I probably caught this on the first round of repeats. I do know Tony Anholt used the wrong fire extinguisher in the vacuum chamber and hit Prowse square in the nuts. You can hear his gasps of pain!

An excellent episode! Always good to see the heroes get a kicking. When the initial attack is underway, that piece of music is not from the chappell library, its an extract from Mars, Bringer of War by Gustav Holst.
