Today, we speak with my favorite sales copywriter, Katie Momo, who shares her digital marketing and sales expertise with us.3.5 things you gotta hear1: Sales copy can be FUN! (for reals)2: You don't have to go it alone.  We can do this together.3: It can sound like you and feel good. (No used-car-salesman sales here)3.5: It's basically the #1 THING you could ever do to double, triple, 10X your business (without changing a damn thing about your product or service!)www.katiemomo.com/Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.comConnect with Katie:www.instagram.com/hellokatiemomowww.katiemomo.com/goodies
Gratitude = Spiritual (I start every day thanking God for his many blessings.) Reading = Intellectual (I grow in knowledge from His Word and other books on my list.) Exercise = Physical (I list what I did to exercise my body.)Affirmation = Emotional (In preparation for the day ahead, I reaffirm who I am in Christ.) Top 3 = Vocational (This is where I set 1-3 goals for my day ahead) End of Day Wins = What did I accomplish today? Reflection = What did I learn today? As soon as I added this, I realized that the GREATER Day Formula became so many different things all in one simple formula. 1. A Gratitude Journal & Prayer Journal 2. A Reading Log3. An Exercise Log4. An Affirmation Journal 5. A Goal-Setting Journal6. A Record of Wins7. A Journal of My Thoughts and Lessons I have heard of so many people doing so many different things, but the truth is that this was an all-in-one solution. The best part is that you don’t need a fancy notebook, and you don’t even need to print out the templates I created at the end of this PDF. You simply just need to write the word GREATER vertically down the page and get started. If the GREATER Day Formula has impacted your life in any way, I’d love to hear from you. Enable your team, don’t disable them. How often do we hear "I have to speak to my Manager" in the hospitality industry or customer service? As leaders, our job is not to manage our teams, we manage the business, we develop and enable people. Allow your team to make quick, on the fly decisions that can change the outcome of the situation. Which in turn allows for a happy guest or client to feel taken care of and a situation resolved.Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.comwww.instagram.com/thomasthehotelierwww.twitter.com/thomasthehotelierwww.facebook.com/thomasthehotelier

In this episode, we talk about "4 Qualities You Need to Become A Leader That Everyone Wants to Follow." This is a jam packed episode with practical advice from the Global Leadership Summit. What qualities do you need to become a leader that everyone wants to follow? 1. A heart to care -4 words every leader must say: I notice. You matter. 2. A passion to inspire -Motivation = Pushing you to do something you don’t want to do. -Inspire = “In Spirit”, pulling out of them what is already inside of them. 3. A willingness to empower -If we delegate tasks, we are creating followers. If we delegate authority, we are creating leaders.4. A courage to be authentic -People would rather follow someone who is real, than someone who is always right. Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com

Jay Abraham once said that “People are silently begging to be led.” So how do you become the type of leader they need? In today's episode, we will be covering a few points that will help you become a standout leader in today's society. 1. State Who You Are And Where You Are Going 2. Take A Stand 3. Speak Their Language 4. Call Out Their Greatness What does a leader look like? I’ve met leaders all over the world, on several continents, and in every profession. I’ve met young leaders and old ones, leaders with big tribes and tiny ones. I can tell you this: *leaders have nothing in common*. They don’t share gender or income level or geography. There’s no gene, no schooling, no parentage, no profession. In other words, leaders aren’t born. I’m sure of it. Actually, they do have one thing in common.* Every tribe leader I’ve ever met shares one thing: the decision to lead.* - Seth Godin Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com
Fear is one of the most powerful forces in your life. It affects the decisions you make, the actions you take, and the outcomes you achieve. Who you are and what you do has at one point or another been influenced by fear. Being successful relies to a large extent on knowing how to leverage fear. Fear is critical for survival. It is a hardwired emotion that involves several parts of the brain. Fear is an internal – mostly automatic (but not entirely) – alarm system, which exists to warn against threats to survival. Survival, in the past, meant staying alive. It meant not getting killed by a predator, a disease, a rival, or a natural disaster. And threats included anything that could literally cause death or serious harm. Fear is what kept our ancestors out of harm’s way. Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com
In today's episode, we share a few things that we have experienced and learned from. These things are key to long term success in any field. I WILL NEVER: 1. Return to what didn't work 2. Do anything that requires me to be something I'm not 3. Try to Change Another Person 4. Choose Short-Term Benefit Over Long-Term Gain 5. Forget That My Inner Success Determines My Outer Success Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com
In today's episode I talk about what winning truly means and what it takes to win at life. I believe that true winners understand that they might lead Fortune 500 companies, make more money than they will ever need, receive more recognition than they could ever dream of… But if they aren’t winning at home, then they are not really winning. We believe that if you lead at home, you win at life. Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com
1...2...3...4...5...6...7 seconds. That's all the time you have to make a first impression on someone…one that may last a lifetime. Contrary to popular belief, the Elements of Personal Communication are as follows: * 7% spoken words * 38% voice, tone * 55% body language The image of leadership is elementary in nature and reflected in your ABCs: * Appearance: How we look * Behavior: What we do * Communication Skills: What we say * Digital Presence * Emotional Intelligence Be sure to check out Will's book: https://amzn.to/2JsLC34 Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com
Why do some individuals and teams succeed more quickly than others and sustain that success over long term? * Of those who pull it off, why are some miserable and others happy on their journey? * What motivates people to reach for higher levels of success in the first place, and what kinds of habits, training, and support help them improve faster? Here's a few things you should know: * KNOW THE RIGHT HABITS: * *With the right habits, anyone can dramatically increase their results and become a high performer in almost any field or endeavor.* * The problem with most people, is that they haven't built the RIGHT habits around the RIGHT kind of work. This is apparent when you go to the water cooler at work and see that same co-worker complaining that they haven't received that promotion. They may be a hard worker, they may get to work early and stay late, they may even go home and work well into the night. But it seems that the people who continue to get promoted in front of your co-worker display more than just hard work ethic, but they display intangible attributes that convey leadership. These people work on themselves, they work on their emotional intelligence, they focus on their work as a whole and achieving the WHY behind their work, they exude a passion for what they do, attract others to follow them and achieve significant results. You'll never find them complaining at the water cooler. * KNOW WHAT IS EQUAL AND WHAT'S NOT: * In my view, we should all be treated as equals. It's the Golden Rule. But here's one thing that isn't equal to the rest. *Not all habits are created equal.* * Developing personal growth habits, learning from the best, investing in yourself to learn and become better everyday is not treated on the same scale as developing the habit of writing in a gratitude journal. Yes, the gratitude journal will help start your day off right, it may make you happier, but it should not be weighed equally with the quality work that you put in to getting smarter, stronger, faster, better. * KNOW THE REAL PROBLEM: * *Achievement is not your problem - alignment is.* * You may already know how to set goals, make check-lists, knock off to-do's. You care about excelling in your field, but you may be experiencing stress, overwhelm and burnout. There is one thing you must learn, what's achievable is not always important. You probably have a lot of things that you CAN do, but it doesn't mean you should always do them. So the real question is not, “How do I achieve more?” but “How would I like to LIVE?” If you listen to this podcast, the chances are you have seen this as a constant theme. Designing your life around your priorities is huge. * KNOW THE ENEMY OF GROWTH: * *The biggest enemy of growth is certainty.* * Too many people want certainty in this chaotic world. What you may not realize is that certainty blinds you, sets false or fixed limits, and creates automatic habits that become predictable bad thinking and opens your competitors to surpass you. High achievers outgrow their youthful need for certainty and replace it with curiosity and genuine self-confidence.Connect with us: Twitter: www.twitter.com/randallsgarciawww.twitter.com/millennialeaderInstagram: www.instagram.com/randallsgarciawww.instagram.com/millennialeadershipFacebook: www.facebook.com/randallseangwww.facebook.com/millennialeadershipWebsite: www.randallsgarcia.comwww.millennialeadership.com
