I don't mean to sound like an a hole but the mother was very weak so now that guy got two bodies and was living in her head rent free she was a weak weak woman and that's sad it's just a strong for her daughter that's that's my opinion
if there is anything to like about the story, it's that every single person who knew anything did the right thing and came forward. if only that was always the case.
I just don't think the Colegrove parents were particularly good people if they were prepared to disown and disinherit one of their sons over petty $%^&. I would not want them near my children with their viciousness and vindictiveness, they would be a bad influence. And in the end, they vilified and were afraid of the wong person.
I think Kay's assumption was spot on. The fact that Ohtas were Asian family was the reason this case didn't get much attention.
