Deadpool & Wolverine is arguably the most anticipated superhero movie since Endgame, so it's only right that I breakdown the latest trailer! This trailer gives us a ton of easter eggs and potential plot theories to discuss. Check it out!
We had to wait a long time to get season 2 of Invincible but it was worth it. The Homie Caleb and I discuss the second half of season 2 and what we hope to see moving forward. Check it out!
The whole point of the Throwback reviews are to remember movies that may have been forgotten. But some movies are forgotten for a reason. The Homies Oz, Caleb, Dylan and myself suffer through this 90's "classic" and (kind of) review it. Check it out!
For the cold open I discuss the recent controversy surrounding the Silver Surfer casting. You get two Homie Commandments for the price of one! This episode is all about character consistency & making sure the tone matches the plot. Check it out!
The X-Men are back! Caleb and I eat a heaping serving of crow. X-Men '97 is excellent and we have to admit it. We discuss the first 3 episodes, characters, animation, voice acting, and whether or not the X-Men are "woke". Check it out!
Have you ever watched a movie and it just wasn't good? It probably had a terrible story. They should do better next time. Holding true to the story means that the characters don't look like idiots, it has a premise that's intriguing, there's a meaning to the message. For this episode I discuss the meaning of rule #2 and I also give more comic book and movie examples. Check it out!
On paper it may seem like a great idea to combine Batman with anime. But in practice the end result is...Different. The Homie Dylan and I have blast reviewing this gem of a movie. The action, plot, characters and more are all discussed in great lengths. Check it out!
The Homie Caleb and I breakdown the current happenings in the nerd world. A few topics we discuss are The Crow remake, Zack Snyder's take on Batman, X-Men 97', Avengers 5, and more! Check it out!
Rules are made to be broken...Except for the Homie commandments. For this episode I discuss the first (and arguably most important) commandment: Hold true to the character integrity. I discuss what that means as well as provide comic book and movie examples. Check it out!
The Homie Brendon joins me to talk about all things Venom. With the third Venom movie releasing later on this year we decided to delve deep into the history of the character in the comics. We also discuss the live action adaptations and theories on the upcoming sequel. Check it out!
We've been anxiously awaiting the sequel to the 2021 Dune movie and (spoiler alert) it did not disappoint. The Homies Oz, Caleb, Dylan and myself all have varying thoughts on the movie but we all agree its a damn fun ride. Check out this wild review for Dune Part 2!
Why eight? Because that's how many I chose to do! There are plenty of amazing villains to use in the upcoming superhero movies but these eight haven't had their chance yet. For this episode I discuss 8 villains origins, powerset, and how to possibly use them in cinema. Check it out!
The Madam Web movie is an experience. Maybe not a good experience but an experience nonetheless. The Homies Kaye and Caleb help me make through this review. Check it out!
You're here for our thoughts on the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer. We gotchu. The Homie Caleb and I also discuss upcoming DCU projects, a live action Miles Morales movie, the Suicide Squad video game and lot more. Check it out!
We're weeks away from Dune pt.2 but in the meantime we figured we'd review the "classic" David Lynch Dune film. We kind of did that but we mostly bullshitted our way through this one. If you want a good time with the Homies then be sure to check out this episode!
The 2021 Dune movie has a fantastic cast, beautiful scenes, a deep plot, and more. Four homies discussing the movie makes it even better. Check out our review of Dune!
The best part about this show is that it ended. There were some good times along the way but the bad moments were way more abundant. Bizarre editing, poor writing, and worse character development are just a few reasons why Echo fails. Check out the finale review anyway.
Episode 4 is thankfully much better than the previous two. Is it enough to redeem the show and set up for a strong finish? Check out the full review to find out!
I have good news and bad news. The good news is if you enjoyed episode 2, you'll enjoy episode 3. The bad news is episode 2 isn't very good...so by that math neither is episode 3. Anyway, check my full review for Echo episode 3.
Episode 1 of Echo was mostly an origin story and a recap of her appearance in Hawkeye. Episode 2 kicks off the actual plot of the show. Does it live up to expectations? Check out the full review!
Can you please tell me the title of the music in the begining?
