Steve Erceg perhaps just had the biggest fumble in UFC championship history against Alexandre Pantoja right at the end of the fight. Up there with Weidman vs Rockhold and his infamously missed spinning back kick. Two of the judges had it as a tie going into the last round. So no doubt about it, those takedowns cost him the fight.
Who Is Steve Erceg?

Following UFC 300, with some of the biggest names in the sport all taking part, we've landed at UFC 301 and ended up with a main event where few even know who the title challenger is; Steve Erceg. So we'll simply try to answer that question as best as we can. Who is Steve Erceg? And most importantly is he a worthy challenger of Alexandre Pantoja's title? Have a watch for Max's thoughts.
Some fighters just go for it every time they compete. In these cases, that was true from the very end. MMA Fighters who put it all on the line even in retirement.
From now till basically the end of time people are going to think of Max Holloway KO'ing Justin Gaethje at the literal last second of their fight, but it turns out there are plenty more and some that truly give it a run for it's money. No time left, this was the very last chance to finish the fight.
UFC 304 in Manchester is finally announced – but fans hit out at ‘ridiculous’ start time. Why have the UFC done this?
We truly don't deserve some of these MMA fighters. Amazing moments of legitimate courage and bravery. Some are just hilarious though. You'll see what I mean. Shoutouts to Mark Coleman for inspiring this idea!
Ryan Garcia emerged this weekend as the talk of the town. Following his win he called out Sean O'Malley but is this a fight MMA fans actually want to see?
Somethings we want to forget, but should we? Incredibly fascinating if nothing else to look back on. Those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat their mistakes.
These fights are the reasons we become fans. Incredible moments that just blow your minds and as the thumbnail shows, Holloway vs Gaethje is a perfect example why this sport is so good.
Max Holloway undoubtedly came out of UFC 300 as the star of the show with one of the most epic last second KO's in MMA history, and with that has he just become the golden ticket?
There's been entire movies made about this subject. When one thing as small as a butterfly effect sends ripples across time. In these cases, it's one fight and the ramifications of each totally changed MMA just by their mere cancellation. That's what we look into today.
What a weekend for Alex Pereira! After his huge KO victory over former champion Jamahal Hill, Alex Pereira has set his sites on UFC 301. But is the turn around possible and would it be too risky for the UFC to serve up their new star to a dangerous short notice title defence?
"I'll never stop doing it!" - Dustin Poirier These are the fighters that no matter how much their coaches & teammates have begged them during fights like Dustin Poirier jumping for the guillotine against Benoit Saint-Denis, they just never stop. Turns out there are plenty of examples of this. It's both fascinating and hilarious.
UFC 300 turned into what will go down as one of the best UFC cards of all time. From Max Holloway KO'ing Justin Gaethje to Pereira's effortless KO of Jamahal Hill this card was incredible from the prelims to the main event. How did it rank among the best for you?
UFC 300 is finally here and former champion Jamahal Hill returns to look to reclaim the UFC Light-heavyweight from Alex Pereira. And while Alex is a favourite, you can't underestimate what Hill can bring to a fight.
It might surprise you to learn, but UFC 300 isn't really UFC 300. But there are a ton of other facts this video takes the time to highlight. What's an interesting fact you've learned over the past few years watching this sport?
Nothing better than an undefeated UFC record right? Tons of hype, hopefully a ton of great finishes? Well... not in every case. We start from the worst down to the best ever of the undefeated fighters that made it all the way to a title shot with their '0' in tact.
As we count down the days to UFC 300, a lot of big fighters take the stage. But what exactly is on the line for these fighters and who comes out on top?
A lot of fighters find creative ways to promote themselves, whether it's the McGregor's, Chael's or Colby's of the MMA world, trash talk is often the route fighters take. Other times it's just by being funny or unhinged and doing a lot of media. In these cases though, good luck getting these fighters to sign up for all that.
Jamahal Hill returns against Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 300 and he's already being completely overlooked but is it so farfetched to think he could not only win but come away with a KO win?
