On this week’s episode we have Joe Ferraro co-owner of Stim.Tech, a mechanical engineering, aero design and all around doer of all things speed related founded in Waterloo Ontario. Stim.Tech has been involved in many of the fastest Time Attack projects in North America, including Chris and Jame's cars. We talk with Joe about aero design and some of the mistakes new competitors to Time Attack make, along with some of the principles they use when working on new projects. On this week’s episode we have Mike McGinnis tuning guru from Cobb Tuning and Innovative Tuning. Mike has been around Time Attack for quite some time and got his start with us in the Canadian Sport Compact Series where he ran his killer Subaru GC nick named Voltron. Most recently he has been piloting his Nissan GTR in the Limited class and putting down some killer times with his daily driver. Mike has been in the game for quite some time and has developed a reputation as being one of the best tuners in North America and his most recent work experience with Cobb Tuning puts that front and centre. Listen in as we talk about his start in Time Attack, what's going on with his GTR and some of the cool things he's done with Cobb Tuning.
For our twelve episode we sit down and talk to Jason Dienhart of Global Time Attack. We've been dying to have him on the show to hear about how Global Time Attack got starter. We also talk to him about how he sees the sport growing and possible schedule expansion. We also talk about how GTA got involved with Super Lap Battle which is is still the largest and most publicized event. Chris also asks Jason what some of his favourite Time Attack cars are on grid with some rather surprising results.
