This is part 2 to our conversation last week on liberal racism. This episode was also inspired by a book I read. 'Caste' by Isabel Wilkerson, changed my perspective on this topic. Listen in! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/allthatpodcast/support
The idea of this podcast was born out of me reading a book by Robin DiAngelo, called 'Nice Racism'. In it she describes how progressive white people perpetuate racial harm. The book made me take a look at my own life & realize that I had never encountered overt racism, but the times that I did feel racism being directed at me, it was at the hands of a white person that would think of themselves as progressive. My friend Garrett  & I discuss this dynamic in episode 66. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/allthatpodcast/support
