Description

Real people. Real problems. Real talk. Normally, therapy sessions are totally confidential — but this podcast opens the doors. Hillary McBride and her clients want to help demystify mental health. No actors. No auditions. No artifice. This is what people really sound like when they talk about traumatic births, turbulent divorces, eating disorders and tough childhoods.

i hope this woman knows how incredibly strong she is. this is some next-level stuff. to share this with others in the hope of helping them is an incredibly powerful act, and i would like to thank her for her generosity and her strength.

This was so raw and beautiful, and it's so important to learn about the stories of trans folks in relationships. There's so little out there. It can be very isolating when so little material is out there for both patients and clinicians.

Thank you so much for this. Living with trauma feels so isolating and terrifying and lonely so often. It helps to hear somebody else going through exactly what im going through, and listening to that person being told what I'm told - that I'm not "crazy", that I can heal, that I can feel safe.

Love this podcast so much! As a psychotherapist in training, I find it so helpful to hear such a wonderful and experienced therapist in live sessions with her clients.
