Clare, Eleanor and Sarah bring you some weird and unusual stories in episode 4 (it is episode 4 right guys?) A self-proclaimed bummer from Clare talking about the Lake Nyos disaster. Els tells you about Clement, a lawyer who went above and beyond to prove his client's innocence. And Sarah's story is about the beautiful but ultimately deadly Balloonfest '86. Two of the unusual deaths this week are nautical themed - lifejackets will NOT be provided.   Sarah tells us about "the worst shark attack in history" on the USS Indianapolis while Eleanor describes just how badly a celebration at sea went for John Kendrick. Clare takes us back to dry land in between by recounting the story of poor Vladimir Likhonos whose love of chemistry ultimately led to his demise.   Contains swearing and strong animosity towards dolphins.

A new week and a new episode of What A Way To Go.   This week we have a story about a carry-on you definitely don't want to see on a plane, the mystery of what happened to Jim Thompson and the heist by cool-as-fuck DB Cooper.   We also spend a lot of time talking about starting our own cult. Els tells us about why you should always exercise caution when playing arcade games, Sarah talks us through the mystery of all the washed up feet in Canada and Claire asks the question 'How many ways could a cow kill you?'.   A warning to squeamish listeners, this episode contains some fairly graphic eye talk. And, as ever, slightly too much swearing.

This week Sarah tells us the story of Zachary Taylor who was President of the United States for just over a year before an untimely and unusual death. Clare covers poor old Franz Reichelt who should've stuck to mannequins, and Els has her debut near miss HOT OFF THE PRESS from 14th May 2018! Contains the usual swears and waffling. Enjoy!

Intential theme week is here!   We bring you stories about celebrities who have weirdly met their maker (or almost).   Daly starts with the infamously sad tale of Brandon Lee on the deadly set of The Crow. Els tells you all the freaky things that happened during the filming of The Omen. And Sarah recalls the story of British heartthrob Paul Nicholls (Eastenders fame) and his interesting trip to Thailand.  As always, contains swearing and female voices.

Huge bummers all round this week lads, sorry.   Els tells us about the sad, untimely deaths of Oscar Wilde's half sisters. Sarah recounts the tale of the first man who was killed by a baseball (thank god for helmets these days) and Clare talks us through the, quite frankly, fascinating story of Bushman's Cave.   Brace yourselves.   Contains swearing and female voices.

Episode 12 is ready for your earlobes. It's a long one!   Sarah starts us off with a freaky story about the Bermuda Triangle. Daly takes us back to our childhood with a story from '999, What's Your Emergency?' (remember that?!) And Els finishes with a story about a mans quest for eternal life through lots and lots of bloody transfusions (spoiler - it doesn't end well.   As always, contains lots of swear words and female voices.

Els and Sarah are flying duo this week whilst Clare's been on her holidays. Not to worry though, as they are joined by a REAL LIFE near miss. Exciting stuff.   Els recounts the tale of an Austrian Mayor whose beard turned out to be his downfall, and Sarah tells the sad tale of the Bethnal Green tube station incident. Clare is replaced by a mystery guest who talks about his experience of a near death encounter.   Contains swearing and female voices. Does not contain Clare Daly.

Are we on drugs this week or is it just the UK heatwave? Who knows! Clare delves into the mysterious death of Zigmund Adamski, Els tells the (non-murder bits of) the story of Mike "the Durable" Malloy, and Sarah covers the tragic death of Jennifer Strange, and how badly radio competitons can go wrong. Contains swearing and camtono.

This week, when we're not talking about the World Cup, we're telling you stories about catching bullets in your mouth (for fun), the unexplained death of Edgar Allan Poe and the sad story of Gloria Ramirez. We finish the episode (as always) by sharing our Girl Crush of the week - a female that has inspired us for whatever reason. Contains swearing, lots of swearing.

We've only got two stories for you this week as Sarah and Els came with the same story. It was bound to happen at some stage. Sarah tells the story of the mysterious Antartic poisoning and Clare follows in a similar vein, recounting Richard Eschelman's dicey experience with poisonous mushrooms. Els listens intently to both.   Contains swearing and female voices.

We have a real mix of stories this week with Clare covering Angela Watson's bath-based near miss, Els tells us the fascinating story of the laughing death disease (WARNING: you might not want to listen to that one while you're eating), and Sarah explains how well-meaning health and safety improvements went so very badly wrong in The Eastland disaster. Day 1,000 of the UK heatwave and another long episode. Els tells us some stories about SHC (you'll have to listen to the episode to find out what the accronym means). Sarah goes on and on about climate change and the permafrost. And Daly shares the story of the flying Wallendas. Female voices and lots of swearing contained within.

Big 19! This week Sarah talks to us about the weird craze of planking, and the dangers that accompany it. Clare explores the darker side of Disney World (much to Sarah's horror), and Els tells the tale of Steve Fossett's attempt to circumnavigate the world in a hot air balloon. Exhilarating stuff.  Weirdly, we also predict Lauren Laverne's move to 6music breakfast host... Contains swearing and female voices.
