This week we are talking to Matt, who grew up in the Christian church, married a woman and had two kids before coming out as a gay man. His story is inspiring and courageous, give it a listen.

Over the course of 5 years I was sexually assaulted by my step dad. Every day it got worse and more intense. Luckily by the time I told my mom she believed and supported me more than I could have ever imagined. I chatted with her in today's episode about her reaction and how she's dealt with it since.
Josh has had a crazy career in the US Military thus far. He was able to come out as openly trans after Obama lifted the ban on in 2016. Now with President Trump in power, that ban is being put back in place. This has caused a roller coaster of emotions for Josh who is one of the first openly transgender men in the US military.
