On June 6, 2018, Dr. John McAdams, professor of American Politics, Public Opinion, and Voter Behavior at Marquette University, spoke at the Leadership Institute's Wednesday Wake-Up Club Breakfast. In 2014, Marquette University suspended Professor McAdams from teaching and moved to strip him of tenure after 30 years of teaching, due to his remarks about a graduate student shutting down free classroom discussion.
