Ek was in die verlede in 'n paar verhoudings waar ons sou baklei, opbreek en dan weer saam sou wees. Dit lyk asof ek vasgevang is in 'n siklus waar ek steeds dieselfde probleme ondervind terwyl ek probeer om dinge reg te stel wat ooglopend stukkend is. Dit was iets waarmee ek vir 'n rukkie gesukkel het, soort van dinge tot 'n gevolgtrekking te bring. Ek het nog altyd die oortuiging gehad dat iets moet uitwerk ... die klassieke ‘Liefde is genoeg’ ingesteldheid. Ongelukkig is dit nie altyd die situasie nie. Soms is verhoudings nie bedoel om te hou nie, en aangesien jy nie die kwessie kan aanpak nie, is dit die beste om op te breek as om jou verhouding verder te beskadig. Om dit verder uit te brei as wat nodig is, veroorsaak uiteindelik meer skade as goed vir alle betrokke partye.’

Singer-songwriter Haas Lauomo releases his latest pop single 'Meet Again', and he says it’s his best yet. The song draws from his colourful sonic palette and vast musical appreciation. Written and produced by artist-producer Daniel Baron, this is the perfect combination of romance, foot-tapping beats and refreshing melodic ear-worms, topped off with the 31-year-old crooner's unique vocal timbre. He chats to Danny Painter about the single here!

Loki says that his single, "Nog Een", which he recorded together with Die Heuwels Fantasties, already had its origins in 2018. "I was busy with music for the kykNET series Tydelik Terminaal at the time. The score for this series had a strong electronic feel to it. At the same time, I was busy with the writing and recording of my debut Afrikaans album, that took almost four years to complete. I needed three more songs to complete te album. A 40 second- piece of music for the Tydelik Terminaal soundtrack stuck with me and inspired the chorus and verse of the single “Nog Een.” I just knew that I had to ask Die Heuwels Fantasties if they would be keen to collab on this particular track. It was a perfect fit. Pierre Greeff from Die Heuwels Fantasties has been working with Loki on various music productions and projects for many years. He says: “Loki can do absolutely everything. He is the real deal. I really like what we did here. “Nog Een” is one of my favourite collabs up to date.”
