We look back at 2018 and into 2019, talk about lessons learned, and priorities for the new year.

We went to Essen Spiel as first-timers, and we did it as exhibitors!  We'll share some reactions and tips and tricks for navigating the waters of Essen Spiel.   We also take a pitch from Gary Chavez for a game he created called Battlecats.  More info from Gary found here!
Adam's Apple Games preps for Essen Spiel!  This is our first time making the trek to Germany and hoping to gain some fans, wisdom, and broaden our networks! We also have a pitch from a local Twin Cities game designer Marcin with Gemboree! Marcin's sellsheet will be linked soon here.
We take some questions from the audience and answer them.  How do you deal with accounting?  How do you deliver games to backers, how do you handle international fulfillment?
When you're ready to work with an artist, you will need a design brief to communicate your requirements to them.  We go through some standard requirements, as well as some tips and tricks to make this communication more effective.    What we've been gaming on - Truck Off, Between Two Cities, and Swordcrafters, and Roll Player.
A pitch about a game called Skytear from Giacomo Neri.   The abstract game is a classic game that has the ability to stand the test of time.  They are generally very light in theme if any is present at all and minimalist in design.  A new rush of themed abstract games is emerging.  We explore our own themed abstract game, how we landed on a theme, and how we are incorporating themed aspects into component and product design.
