This episode is about becoming more introspective. Cancelling the noise, which may include, scrolling through instagram and things outside of your day's plan. We seek to become more reflective thinkers through this episode. In particular, we discuss taking time out for deep thought/ deliberation. In this seclusion time, one would benefit from analysing their weak points and strong points, in terms of their character. From there, the character development can progress. One step at a time we can get closer to Allaah by bettering our character. This seclusion time can also allow room for choosing good deeds that match your strengths and excelling in them.

In this episode, we discussed the importance of setting appropriate boundaries in today’s world. Is it possible to have boundaries that are too rigid or too relaxed? And is it necessary to have boundaries for ourselves as well as others? We further explored the challenges that a person may face in work, family and cultural settings and suggestions of ways to tackle this.
We investigated the effects of labelling from a societal (offending) perspective as well as the impact of labelling on special needs students. We also considered the role of ‘diagnostic labels’ in a mental health context. Do labels always have damaging effects or does this depend on the context and the type of label? Does this vary depending on the giver and receiver of each label?
In this episode, we mentioned the ways in which our thoughts can shape our mindset and consequently how we react to situations that we face in our lives. We also explored the theme of gratitude and how redirecting our focus will allow us to grow in the best way possible.
In this podcast, we engaged in self-reflection and mentioned the positive influence of the pandemic on our lives. We discussed the ways in which our relationship with Allaah, other people and ourselves were impacted but this global outbreak. We ended with practical steps and life skills that we have gained and would like to implement in the future.
