In episode 005 "Walking Together: Inclusion" part one, April Lindala, Director of the Center for Native American Studies is interviewed and discusses the Native American Studies major. April is a three-time alumna of Northern Michigan University and gives the listener a glimpse on the Native American perspective.

In this episode "Creatives in Action: Community" you will hear from two highly involved community members from Northern Michigan University and Marquette, Michigan. Our first guest is Bill Digneit, NMU's Theater Director and an alumnus. Hear more about the ways Bill gets the community involved in theater programming and how he has taken to new approaches as a leader. Our second guest is Jerry Mills, a keynote speaker, educator, and singer-songwriter who strives to build up the community around him.

In this episode "Cyber Generation: Opportunity" you will hear about an up-and-coming program at NMU and conversations regarding opportunities pursued by NMU alumnus Keith Glendon ('98 BS) and NMU student Bethany Watson. Keith is an IBM Program Director for worldwide sales, strategy and business development and cyber security advocate. Also interviewed in this episode is Northern Michigan University student, Bethany Watson who is a business management major. The curious topics of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and happenings found in Marquette, Michigan will be discussed.

In this episode "Running Waves: Innovation" covers how sports such as running and surfing can drive someone to create a business. Our guests include Ian Pope, a Northern student who decided to create his own surfboards, and Kevin Thomsen an NMU alumnus ('04 BS) and owner of Queen City Running Company.

In this episode "Where Green is Gold: Environment" you will hear conversations regarding sustainability, environmentalism and conservationism from Northern Michigan University student, Olivia Walcott, who helped to start the student organization "EcoReps" and the program director for a non-profit local to Marquette, Mich. named, Emily Leach, with the"Superior Watershed Partnership and Land Trust".
