Description
Five years ago, Molly Weaver, Bryan Anderson, and Nathan Howell started a podcast focused on the local legend of a monster called The Blackwood Bugman. Quickly, the investigation grows out of their control, as they discover that, not only are the legends seemingly true, many people in Blackwood have turned up dead or disappeared without a trace. Worse, there may be a reason why no one has ever uncovered the truth before. Someone is watching them, willing to do whatever it takes to keep the secret. Their recordings have finally been released.

the grandpa seemed nice, these kids are just jerks lol
when will you release another episode???
The protagonists are utterly uninteresting. The mystery is meandering and sloppy, and the underlying impetus for starting the plot to begin with is lukewarm at best. Of course these are mere opinions, and heavily reflective of my tastes. Yours may differ, and my ambivalence towards this work should not detract from your enjoyment of it, if you do enjoy it.
Story was all over the place. There were so many things happening and yet nothing happened.
So that's it then? No sequel even after four years, with a cliffhanger like that. oh no!
did the show continue or left off at question 6 ep?
Sorry it didn't come back for another season as I was really enjoying it.
This podcast is a little all over the place. Part cult mystery, part found footage horror, part teen true crime. Its interesting, but not really attention grabbing. The ads in the middle of the podcasts are annoying and break up the story flow. 1/3 of the last episode feels like it should be part of the first episode. The show does write teenagers really well, which I think a lot of writers struggle with. The ending feels unfinished, like this was meant to have a season 2 (the show ends on a cliff hanger). A lot of unanswered questions. Despite the show not feeling like anything special, I would definitely be interested in a season 2. I would warn, there is some upsetting moments of physical violence and elderly abuse.
Heads up: There is some physical violence near the end of the episode that might be upsetting to some.
There is just straight up elder abuse at the end of the episode. Its really upsetting.
I really enjoyed this podcast! I would love a 2nd season, the way it ended I feel it could possibly do another one. Either way, glad I listened.
Will there be a 2nd season??.?
WE NEED ANOTHER SEASON!!
I hope there's a second season with all the original characters
the part where Brian gets really angry at her and then snatches at her and her camera and then apologizes after, makes him sound like an abusive πhead
you could slap Brian in the face with proof and he'd be like "where?" π
I reallly like it hope to hear season 2
maybe a season 2 will happen at some people? not too bad, too short.
I have no idea what happened.
we need more!!!
