While in college and later at the University of Miami, he works for the Miami Herald and a local TV station, thinking he wants to become a lawyer and run for political office. However, upon graduation, he elects to continue the pursuit of a journalism career instead of taking an offer to apply to Harvard Law School. After school Bob works in local and national TV at NBC and CBS. Then it was on to Entertainment Tonight, and running cable networks like Discovery Health and The Africa Channel.
