1 in 200 kids are estimated to have PANS/PANDAS – but that number is likely lower due to the lack of education surrounding PANS/PANDAS. PANS/PANDAS, which stands for Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections, is a condition that affects children's brains and behavior. It can be difficult to see your child experiencing sudden and sometimes severe symptoms that may disrupt their daily life.  ⭐In PANS/PANDAS, the immune system, which is meant to protect the body, starts to act in a confusing way. Instead of only fighting off germs, it mistakenly attacks the child's own brain cells. This inflammation in the brain can lead to various symptoms such as changes in behavior, mood, and cognitive abilities. It's important to remember that these symptoms are not your child's fault; they are a result of the immune system's response. It's essential to seek medical care, find understanding healthcare providers, and access support systems to help you navigate this journey. Remember that you are not alone, and there are resources available to help you and your child cope with PANS/PANDAS. Most standard Thyroid panels do NOT test enough metrics to help you make the best decisions around your health. If you’re suffering with IBS then your symptoms are very real. But the diagnosis itself is BS, and here’s why. A diagnosis of IBS says nothing about why you’re suffering, it’s just giving a label to your collection of symptoms. The same thing happens with Fibromyalgia. If you’re suffering with any kind of gut issue, then you need to get to the underlying root cause (or causes) so that you can actually fix the problem and truly heal! If you’ve been diagnosed with IBS then ask your doctor “So what’s causing the IBS?” If their response is we don’t know, or nothing, or that IBS is the cause and diagnosis, then either find a new doctor, or understand that you’ll forever be trapped by your symptoms until you decide to investigate deeper!
Obviously we all need to be exercising daily, and 99% of us could be doing more than we already do. But there’s some common mistakes beyond not doing enough exercise that keeps people trapped. If you want to lose weight, cardio is not the best exercise for you. Cardio is great for mental health, as well as lung and cardiovascular health. But it’s really not very useful for weight loss. Instead, you need to be lifting weights to put on muscle if you really want to speed up your weight loss. Another common mistake is doing too much high intensity interval training if your body is stuck in a stress response. Now don’t get me wrong, HIIT is one of the best forms of exercise out there. But if your body is pumping too much cortisol and other stress hormones every day because of too much emotional stress, or because you’re dealing with chronic illness from underlying biotoxins like mold toxicity, then the HIIT training can be too much of a good stress and will not only prevent you from losing weight, but can actually cause weight gain!
While it’s true that the majority of people will have a run-in with some kind of cancer in their lifetime, we need to remember that no 2 cancers are the same, and your overall metabolic health has a huge impact on how your body will manage the cancer and what your survival rates will be, plus which treatment path you should go down. To test your body’s current metabolic health status when dealing with cancer, there’s a number of simple blood tests you can run that will show how well (or poorly) your body is handling the tumor load.  You’ll want to run the following tests: CBC and specifically look at WBC, Platelets, and the Neutrophil to Lymphocyte ratio Comprehensive Metabolic Panel - Creatinine, Liver enzymes, Alkaline Phosphatase Inflammatory markers - LDH, ESR, hs-CRP
One of the most common questions I get asked is “what are the best tests for gut health?” My answer usually surprises people… None of them! What do I mean? Well, our gut microbiome literally changes every second in response to our stress levels, our toxic burden, what foods we eat and so on. So GI mapping and similar tests don’t really tell us much about what’s actually happening. Instead, I recommend that people do more “root cause” testing to find out what’s actually causing the gut symptoms in the first place so we can address that/those.

There’s no more powerful force in the world than the love a parent has for their child. But mother’s especially develop an unbreakable bond with their child after growing, feeding,a dn nurturing them. This is why when it comes to the health of your child, mother’s should ALWAYS trust their intuition. You know when something doesn’t feel right. It might be that you were dismissed even though you know something more is going on.  Or maybe a medical treatment was recommended that just doesn’t feel right to you. So what should you do? Always speak up. Always be the best advocate for your child. Get 2nd and 3rd opinions until you feel like you can be comfortable with the direction you’re going, or the diagnosis you’ve received. The biggest regret you’ll ever have as a parent is looking back and knowing that you’re feelings were screaming at you to do something different and you ignored them!
I’m sure the body positivity movement started with all of the right intentions. And I certainly agree with some of the premises. Every human should love themselves exactly how they are! But loving yourself doesn't mean the same thing as accepting less for yourself. And allowing your health to get away from you, and become obese, will impact your ability to live your best life. But it also affects your family. It’s not fair for them to lose you younger than they should because of poor health, or if you can’t do the things you want to enjoy with your spouse or kids or grandkids because your weight or health is holding you back. And before you get mad at me - I absolutely understand that many of you reading this are struggling with weight problems even though you eat a healthy diet. But if you find the right health practitioners to help you get to the root cause, you CAN correct the problem and drop all of that weight!
The majority of people watching this video are probably deficient in Boron. But don’t think of it like a supplement that you need to take. Boron is a trace mineral, and it’s very important to have sufficient levels of it.
