Dr. Al Danenberg was given 3-6 months to live in August of 2018. He joins us on the show today to talk about the reality of a death sentence, the emotions when one is completely helpless, his unconventional cancer protocol, and so much more!Although we aren't going to dive into periodontology today, we are going to talk about Dr. Al and his diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma.  But not the usual stuff.  In this episode we're going to explore the realities of dying and how that impacts yourself and your family.  We'll also talk about the realities of being bedridden and helpless and all the emotions that come with it.  You can find Dr. Al online at https://drdanenberg.com/Dr. Danenberg is a periodontist for over 4 decades.  He received his dental degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1972, and his Specialty Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Maryland, School of Graduate Dentistry in 1974. The following two years he was Chief of Periodontics at Charleston Air Force Base, and later had periodontal practices in Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina. Along with his active practice, he wrote and published from January 1990 through December 2001 “The Personal Report” newsletter, which was mailed quarterly to every periodontist in the United States. He joined Beaufort Family Dentistry in South Carolina in 2009 and was treating patients at Bluffton Center for Dentistry until he retired from active practice at the end of 2018. Dr. Danenberg received advanced training in evolutionary nutrition from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as well as The Center for Mind-Body Medicine. He received his CFMP (Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner) designation from Functional Medicine University in June 2014, and the Primal Health Coach Certification in September 2014. In 2015, he was appointed to the faculty of the College of Integrative Medicine and created its integrative periodontal teaching module. Beth never believed she could reverse her insulin resistance, pre diabetes, Crohn’s colitis, high blood pressure, and migraines. She just accepted the fact that this was her lot in life. All she wanted to do was drop 20 pounds to relieve some pressure from her joints. Little did she know that when she began to remove all the processed garbage food that her situation would be free from these hardships she never imagined would leave. Another story of real food keto, low carb, and carnivore for the win!!! Let alone the fact that she was in a coma for days, had her lungs collapsed and her intestines all over the operating room table being cleaned from infection and should be dead. What a story!
