Gerard is a proud transplant Texan hailing from Wichita, Kansas. He moved to the great state to study at the University of Dallas, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Physics. Gerard has studied firearms and military history since he was a child, being interested in their mechanical complexity and impact on history and politics. He is an ardent, lifelong supporter of the second amendment and is thankful for the positive impact the shooting sports have had on his life. Gerard taught all his family and most of his friends how to enjoy firearms safely. He enjoys empowering individuals at all skill levels to hone their performance and learn new skill sets. Gerard particularly enjoys introducing brand new shooters to the sport, and teaching experienced shooters new mindsets, applications, and firearm platforms.
On this episode of the podcast Preston and I go into depth on the shot process in more detail then we anticipated. This was not the intended purpose and we apologize in advance but amends are already being made with a promise to do a shorter more fundamentally basic version next week. For now we hope you enjoy our passion filled discussion of the 12 step process of the archery shot (maybe it was 13 but who is counting).
It was a pleasure to have these two on the podcast this week to provide more insight on long guns and the culture that surrounds the shooting world. These two shooters are perfect examples of how you don't have to come from some tacticool job to be good at shooting or to share your knowledge gained from experience. Everyone please welcome back Walker Korus and first time guest Rob Mills!
This week we are lucky to have Preston back on to talk competitions! Seeing that I have entered into my first league I thought it would be nice to see where my thoughts lined up with someone who has been to small scale and large scale competitions around the big state of Texas. This time no awkward advise from me to get married but some big ego checks on the shooting line. We hope you enjoy!
Tonight we have Preston Andrus on to talk to us about how he coaches new and experienced archers and the challenges he experiences. Also for my personal gain we briefly talk about my upcoming target bow build and challenges I will have.
Long Rifles with Walker

Long Rifles with Walker

2019-07-0801:21:29

On this weeks episode we have Walker Korus on to talk long rifles. We hit the wave tops on many aspects and have a good time just hanging out and shooting the shit. ha! In all seriousness Walker knows way more than I give him credit for and will definetly have him on again to dive deep into the world of precision rifle. For now enjoy our conversation and let us know how we are doing. As always, thanks for listening! Oscar Mike!
On this weeks episode of On the Move Archery we host a special guess and long time best friend of mine Brandon Hershkowitz. We ask him how it was he came into archery and what he loves about it. As well as compare our 2018 and 2019 Total Archery Challenge events. Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy!
A long overdue episode of Phil and Aj catching up since Phil received orders to Sicily. We talked about future plans for our archery goals, how adjusting to life in Sicily was going and how we planned on keeping On the Move......well On the Move lol. Side note Phil is halfway across the world and only has a laptop until his house hold goods arrive from the Navy so the sound quality is less than ideal but that will soon be addressed. Thanks again for supporting us and listening to the podcast. Oscar Mike!

Self taught, passionate in his art and a constant drive to improve himself are just some of the qualities this man holds. As well as what Kennedy's favorite target was to shoot. Again this was as real as it gets podcast episode and were glad we could pull it off as a family. Enjoy!
