Money makes everything better right? 🤔 Sure, we have to have proper investments in place to provide for our family and ourselves. But beyond that? Let's get into it. Youri Bujko is an amazing friend, mentor, and all-around great human being that I am very excited to have on the show today. We brought the studio to his hangar and talked about how money doesn't always buy happiness. Although Youri has gained a lot of wealth through his journey in life, that's not what makes him happy. Huge takeaways in this episode. It was a pleasure to hear him open up and shed light on some dark times and some eye-opening outlooks on life. Enjoy! In Bend, Oregon, sex slavery is a very real thing.   Most people deny this fact, but in this incredibly important episode of the Torcom Talk podcast, the team from Guardian Group shares stories of sex trafficking happening right here in our town (and probably yours, too).  In it, they disclose: ▸ How women get sex trafficked by their own families ▸ The youngest girls that get sex trafficked (HINT: It's infants!) ▸ What time of day women most-often get purchased from WORK computers ▸ How women get bought on social media ▸ The task force in place to bring these women home ▸ How you can get trained on what to look for to stop this epidemic ▸ The multiple ways YOU can make a difference ▸ and SO much more.  We NEED to start talking about this so that we can bring light to it, to change political policies to attack it, and, ultimately, to stop this.  I hope you take a listen.    ❗️ PLUS ❗️ Learn even more at the Guardian Group website at https://guardiangroup.org/.  Get future hot-off-the-press Torcom Talk episodes like this emailed straight to you by signing up at https://mazamamedia.activehosted.com/f/7.

Today's guest on is Shannon Keith! This is a woman business tycoon that's doing things a bit differently. What is she doing differently? She's saving the world. She is helping bring women out of sex slavery. Giving them jobs as seamstresses in India and built a multi-million dollar business doing it. This podcast goes deeper than how to build a successful company. It actually makes you start grappling with the thoughts of slavery. Not only in India, but in our country as well. It's not anything that we should ignore anymore and I hope that this can bring a lot of enlightenment to your lives. So without further or do please enjoy this very deep conversation with Shannon Keith and myself.
Nick Shivers is a good friend and business colleague of mine. He is one of, if not the best Portland-Metro realtor. Who is a huge philanthropist doing a big program called sell a home save a child. That has been spreading across the country, and parts of the world. We get into philosophy, faith, how it applies to business, how some people in Nicaragua can be poor and happier than ever. While other people in the United States and other western regions can have everything they had ever wanted and are miserable, and why that is. So some difficult great questions are asked, and pondered over in this discussion.     Stay up to date -   instagram - @budtorcom  facebook - budtorcom  linkedin - budtorcom   http://www.budtorcom.com/podcasts
Hey everyone! Super excited about today's guest on the podcast. It is the one and only Founder & President of Deschutes Brewery Gary Fish. This guy started the craft brewing scene in Bend back in 1986. And he's built the empire that we all know as Deschutes Brewery. With epic beers like Black Butte Porter and Fresh Squeezed IPA the list goes on and on. Actually their brewery is just on the other side of our studio right here.  So I was just like, why don't we get Gary on? We get into some really awesome educational stuff on how to build a business from the ground up. Going into how he was looking to have just a successful pub. But guess what? It wasn't successful. But the beer was. So he pivoted, and BOOM! Now we have Deschutes. Get into a lot of stuff on how he ticks. I hope you're able to pick up some of this stuff and apply it in your own business leader enterprises.  Brought to you by Mazama media!  Please follow me on my other channels to stay up to date on all things coming in the future and behind-the-scenes fun!  https://www.linkedin.com/in/budtorcom/ https://www.facebook.com/budtorcomCEO/ https://www.instagram.com/budtorcom/
