Most couples read vows to each other during the ceremony. There are some couples that are extremely shy and don't want to be the center of attention at their own wedding. After consulting w/ one of my couples I found out that they decided to write personal vows to each other and read them to one another in a personal and intimate setting before the ceremony. I thought I would share this with all my engaged couples that maybe looking for an alternative to doing vows at their own ceremony. Your Guests List Will Determine Your Budget! 3 Tips To help you manage your guests list. #1. As a Couple Make a master list of everyone you want to be at your wedding A) Family Members B) Close Friends C) Co Works etc.... #2. Your Parents will want a list of their own. Especially if they are helping you flip the bill for the wedding. A) Give both sets of parents a limit on the amount of people they may invite BUT have a conversation w/ them before hand. B) One Family may be bigger the the others so keep this in mind when setting limits C) Your Parents many want to invite people you don’t know or care about, just keep in mind that this is a very emotional time for your family.... Aunts, Uncles, Siblings, Family Friends, Childhood Friends #3. Determine Who You Will Allow To Have A Plus One. A) If the person you are inviting is married or had been in a relationship for a long period of time, I think it’s proper etiquette to invite their spouse. If you don’t they may not show up. Are you going to allow Kids, if not some guests that have multiple kids or a new born may not show up. So keep this in mind. There are nanny services that you can invest in for your guests that have kids. That will be a wedding Workshop Podcast in the future.
