In Episode #12 of the Building One Houston podcast with Raj Salhotra, candidate for Houston City Council At Large #1, Raj sits down with his friend Greg to discuss the state of the campaign after this week's General Election and how it feels to have made it to the run off election scheduled for December.  In addition, Raj explores a few subjects and topics of interest to Houston residents in which he and his opponent differ quite dramatically.

In Episode #11 of the Building One Houston podcast with Raj Salhotra, candidate for Houston City Council At Large #1, Raj sits down with his friend Greg to discuss the state of the campaign, recent endorsements, fund raising and new staffing hires as he heads into the final 100 days of the campaign.  In addition, Raj and Greg tackle national news, such as gun violence and family separation, to discuss how Houston City Council members can affect national policy while working on a city level.

In Episode #10 of the Building One Houston podcast with Raj Salhotra, candidate for Houston City Council At Large #1, we speak with Andy Canales, head of Latinos For Education, about the state our education system in Texas and Harris County.  In addition, we discuss how Andy was drawn to his work, including his own family's story, and how tightly immigration and education are connected in so many ways.  Along the way, Raj updates us on how his campaign is progressing and what we can expect in the coming weeks on the campaign trail.

In Episode #7 of the Building One Houston podcast with Raj Salhotra, candidate for Houston City Council At Large #1, we speak with Johnny Solis III, a second year law-student specializing in environmental law at University of Houston, about the recent ITC fire in eastern Harris County.  In this episode, we discuss the environmental hazards for Houston residents living closest to refineries, what the City's role is when disasters strike as well as before, and we also touch on some common sense solutions that stake-holders and governmental officials can take to help alleviate some of the inequity inherent in our current environmental situation.

In Episode #6 of the Building One Houston podcast with Raj Salhotra, candidate for Houston City Council At Large #1, we speak with Barbara Quattro, the President of the Alief Super Neighborhood.  In this episode, we discuss the relationship between Super Neighborhoods and City Council, learn about the history of Super Neighborhoods in Houston and how the day to day concerns of Super Neighborhoods are represented and advocated for.
