Phoenix is ranked the 5th largest city in the US with a population over 1.7 Million. With a city this size there are several popular areas and neighborhoods within the city limits of Phoenix, such as Paradise Valley, Deer Valley, Camelback East and many other smaller historical districts we could dive into, and explore but today we’re going to take a look an area somewhat isolated from the rest of the city and nestled between South Mountain and the Gila River Indian Reservation known as Ahwatukee.  Kim Jones is a fellow Realtor with North&Co. Relocating to the area from the Midwest in 2017, Kim loves the area she chose to call home and shares with us her experiences and favorite things about the neighborhood known as Ahwatukee Foothills. From the top rated schools, community events, and local businesses to the ideal location for recreation, entertainment, and employment, you are sure to find something to love about it too. The real estate industry, along with many other business climates, is changing daily because of the influx of information online and all that noise out there. If you're in the market to buy or sell property do a little investigative work by asking people you know in the area for suggestions, google them, read their reviews, and check out their persona and presence online. THEN, if they fit your criteria, request a consultation to see if you’d be a good fit to work together. What separates a great agent from the rest? This can vary depending on your individual needs. But here are a few to keep in mind: 1) Location - are they familiar with your city and neighborhood and home type? 2)  Situation - Do they have solutions to offer for your specific needs? 3) Scope of expertise, education, and professional statistics. 4) Communication - Are they good at it? Can they explain the contract to you in a manner you can understand. Can they explain the market to you? 5) And last but probably one of the MOST important factors, do you even like them, bro?If you like what I have to say or you’d like to hear more about my background, my marketing, and my negotiating approach, please reach out to me and let's have a conversation! If you’re here for educational purposes, have questions about what I’ve discussed here, or just want to pick my brain, Im good with that too! You can email me at Tara@RealDealArizona.com. OR you can follow me and send me a DM on Facebook and Instagram @realdealarizona.If you found this podcast useful, share it! Let’s get these discussions going and get the information out there.

She has recently started teaching a series on social sales, and has a ton of knowledge not only for people in the real estate industry, but small business owners in general.  Here she shares some tools and tricks to help increase your online presence and reach, and in turn grow your business. As promised, I’ve got slew of links to some of the apps Shannon shared along with her contact information in the show notes. So If you have questions on anything we discussed here please feel free to reach out to either of us through any of the channels listed there.  And before I go I wanted to ask the audience WHO IS USING ALEXA FLASH BRIEFINGS?! I  just recently stepped into the world of Alexa and it’s been super fun but I am definitely NOT using it to it’s full potential just yet. I don’t have any flash briefings set up but Shannon, if you’re listening - YOU WILL BE MY FIRST!  I’ve included instructions on how to find activate Shannon’s My Title Gal Minutes to get you started. From what I understand the process by which to search, explore and discover more  of the Alexa flash briefings is in its infancy but I do look forward to hearing more and sharing how it evolves here in the near future. LinksSouth Mountain Trails Downtown Chandler InShot App - Edit Videos is available on Google Play and the App StoreFeedly - Content Curation Trello - Organization & Project Management My Title Gal Minutes on Alexa Phone/Text - 602-819-2261 Email: sgoldberg@gcta.com
