Jesus mercifully and gently reinstates Peter after his three-fold denial, and then calls him to costly discipleship (just like us).
The hope we have in Jesus' return and in our own future resurrection should fuel our purity and obedience.
Abiding with Christ includes loving our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Jesus is our advocate when we sin, which leads us to obey Him all the more.
Walking with God includes ongoing acknowledgement and repentance of sin so that we may grow in righteousness.
The Good News of salvation in Christ brings fellowship with God and eternal life and joy.  It is a message we must proclaim.
Friendships, with each other and with those in our community, are central to our evangelism and discipleship.
If you are a Christian, you are a disciple.  And if you are a disciple, you are commanded to make disciples.
We strive for excellence in our efforts to serve the Lord in our internal and external ministries.
The Word of God is our North Star for what we believe and how we live.
Following Jesus is serious, and seriously joyful, work.
From the very beginning, the scriptures have always been about Jesus, the Word of God, even if we didn’t know it at first. And everything he did from the beginning of creation to now was to make us his own children.”
Unlike the empty promises of the world, the birth of Jesus brings present and eternal peace.  But before we receive that peace, there must be war.
The coming of the Messiah brings us unconquerable joy in this life and the next.
Jesse's descendant will bring peace to a world riven by conflict.  In Christ, we are offered peace with God, with each other, and with ourselves.
In the darkest moment of human history - when Adam and Eve brought sin into the world through their disobedience - the Father gives a prophecy of hope concerning the future salvation coming through his Son.
