Kev and Clare stick to their promise to record a pod within 2 weeks and it focuses on all things Brighton Marathon. They speak to Dave who ran pushing his adult son Stevie in a wheelchair, catch up with matt about the things that make him get emotional at races, and move recording locations several times (apologies folks)! Enjoy!
Kev, Clare and the stars align to allow a long awaited podcast recording after a 7 month hiatus. Kev and Clare keep it simple and have a recap on what has been going on in running and life whilst they've been away. They have a long overdue check in with Matt, and Kev insults just about every person he hasn't previously insulted. Enjoy!
Well we're back, again! It's been a while but Clare and Kev catch up with each other, Matt and Mr Slack about all things running, New Zealand, drinking and stags. Recorded in various outdoor venues around worthing so the sound quality is ya know... interesting!
Kev and Clare are back to talk all things Brighton Marathon. They speak to Matt to get his take on being a spectator, followed by Ash who came back 6 months after her first Brighton to take nearly an hour off her time! They also re-cap on their own marathon experience and Clare has a cry.

Episode 30 - Matt Oades

2022-03-0101:09:47

Clare and Kev upgrade Matt to official guest, they battle with sound issues and we're going to totally blame it on Storm Eunice. They talk weather, cancelled races and Kev manages to insult almost everyone... Enjoy!
Kev and Clare are back! is it a new season? who really knows! They speak with Robbie Britton, Ultra-endurance coach and athlete about racing, pacing and pizza. Oh and his book 1001 running tips. Matt also returns  for a random chat section, along with your normal dose of ridiculous innuendo to pass the time. Enjoy!
Kev and Clare chat with actual legit published author and adventurer extraordinaire, Elise Downing. She speaks about the epic challenge of running 5000 miles around the coast of Britain self supported, and trust me when I say there are many lols along the way.  They also talk bullying on and off social media, the training aids that you think are nonsense, and the (now) regular check in with Matt. It's a good one folks!
TRIGGER WARNING - This episodes contains discussions on OCD and intrusive thoughts that some listeners may find difficult. Kev and Clare discuss London marathon, racing and usual Run Things nonsense.  Matt is back for the second week for his superior guest slot where they mostly talk roast dinners. Followed bu a much more insightful catch up with Sarah, discussing her experience of being diagnosed with OCD and how running helped her find her self again.
Run Things are back!! After an unplanned hiatus season 3 lands with a bang. Kev and Clare talk to awesome runner and all round good guy Bari aka Usingh Bolt about volunteering for mental health charities, running multiple marathons, and so much more. Also special guest appearance from often mentioned Matt Oades, who gets a surprise call to chat Run Things!
Kev and Clare have far too long of an intro where the welcome a new feature - running moans and groans. Then they speak to Dave about how running saved his life, the 100 marathon club, being in the olympic opening ceremony, and a whole host of other wonderful stories.
Kev and Clare talk to Kirsty about beach volleyball, interesting approaches to training for a marathon and how having a goal isn't always the best for you mental wellbeing. There is also a healthy dose of nonsense, along with the usual Run Things news.
Clare an Kev are back and almost regular for a change. This week they're going back in time to meet, weirdly, Kev's friend who just so happens to also be his former PE teacher and form tutor from years 7-9.They talk history, talent, running 100 marathons and teaching in the Covid world.

After a hiatus due to Clare having a baby and Kv building a gym in his garden the two are back to talk mostly nonsense and the occasional interesting moment of run chat.
** Trigger Warning ** Clare and kev chat their usual nonsense before speaking with Henry. Henry (aka the bearded runner) is running 52 half marathons to raise money and awareness for male suicide charities after his brother took his own life. Henry talks openly and honestly about his experiences and some listeners may find the content triggering.
Amidst the uncertainty of a near world wide lock down due to coronavirus. Kev and Clare talk to Professor Andy Lane about how we all might get through this using his knowledge as a sports psychologist.
Kev and Clare are back talking about the cancellations of races across the UK, before speaking to Em who has lived through more than one natural disaster in New Zealand. Em talks about dentistry, zumba, a rather terrible half marathon and the importance of exercise as a resilience strategy in hard times.
Clare and Kev are back with season 2, or at least that's what they're calling it having had a bit of a Run up to Christmas hiatus. They chat with Gina a relatively new runner about to take on 2 marathons, and her story of post natal depression.
Trigger warning.Episode 15 is a 'special', of sorts. 16 years to the day that their dad took his own life, Kev, Milly and Bod talk openly and honestly about what their dad meant to them and ultimately how they dealt with his suicide. Three siblings, three different takes on life and death.
