Mothers and Muses

I had the lovely opportunity to sit down and chat with photographer/musician/teacher/mother Carrie Nichols.  She discusses her nurturing role as a teacher and how the family navigates NYC with a six year old and two year old twins. 

In this episode I share a bit of history about my life in the arts, my challenges of having children, and my journey back to finding my creative life. 

In today's episode I get to talk with contemporary dancer, choreographer, and story teller, Adrienne Westwood.  We discuss creating work after children, being more present, and finding balance.  

In this episode I get to speak with the lovely and hysterical Julie Lubeck.  She went from performing onstage to writing, producing, and staring in online videos to producing content for television.  Here we talk about how she shifted careers and how she merged them with motherhood. 

This is our first episode!!! Our conversation today is with the incredible Tanya Birl Torres.  After a successful 15 year career on tour and Broadway, she left to follow her own path.  Here we talk about what led to that change, how it affected her family and what she hopes her daughters take from her experiences.
