We're back with another guest interview! I'm so pleased to be bringing you this episode with Dr. Michael Jones, a NaPro-certified OBGYN.  He actually was the doctor I worked with during our infertility journey and he performed the laparoscopy surgery on me.  I am forever grateful for his incredible work!  He has helped so many women over his career of being a NaPro surgeon.Enjoy!Your host,Malori Mayor, BSN, RN and infertility warriorSHOW NOTESFind a NaPro provider: https://fertilitycare.org/find-a-mcDr. Jones is semi-retiring soon, so if you are in the DFW area and looking for a NaPro OBGYN, check out WholeLife Authentic Care in Fort Worth!Email me: restoringfertilitynaturally@gmail.comVisit my website: https://www.warriorlifewellness.comFind me on Instagram: Warrior Life Wellness, Restoring Fertility Naturally*Disclaimer: The information presented in this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not to be used as a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider.
Hey friends!  Today I'm telling my detailed story about what happens before and after endometriosis surgery, specifically with a restorative reproductive medicine specialist.  I forgot to even say the word in the episode, but it is specifically called a "laparoscopy."  (It is minimally invasive.). I also had a hysteroscopy (looking inside the uterus) and selective HSG (looking inside and clearing the Fallopian tubes) during the surgery.  If you're getting ready for a laparoscopy or even just thinking of having one, this episode is for you!  Feel free to email me down below if you have any questions about the process.Your host,Malori Mayor, BSN, RN and infertility warrior__________________________________________________Find a NaProTECHNOLOGY provider: https://fertilitycare.org/find-a-mcEmail me: restoringfertilitynaturally@gmail.comVisit my website: https://www.warriorlifewellness.comFind me on Instagram: Warrior Life Wellness, Restoring Fertility Naturally*Disclaimer: The information presented in this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not to be used as a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider.
Hey fellow infertility warriors!  Today's episode is an interview with my friend and Certified FertilityCare Practitioner, Holly Baril.  She taught me how to chart using Creighton and has been a key player on our fertility team.  It's so important to surround yourself with people like Holly!  In this episode, we talk about her work as a FCP, as well as the two online courses she recently released: "Cycle Symptom Tracker" and "Conquering Your PMS Naturally."  You can find links to purchase these courses below and to schedule a free 15-minute consultation with Holly to see if she'd be a good fit if you're interested in learning the Creighton Model System.Your host,Malori Mayor, BSN, RN and infertility warriorSHOW NOTESHolly's website: https://www.intouchfertility.comBook a free 15-min consult with Holly: https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=14920184Purchase Holly's courses: https://intouchfertility.thinkific.com/Find Holly on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/intouchfertilityFind Holly on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/intouchfertilityEmail Holly: intouchfertility@att.netFind a NaPro provider: https://fertilitycare.org/find-a-mcEmail me: restoringfertilitynaturally@gmail.comVisit my website: https://www.warriorlifewellness.comFind me on Instagram: Warrior Life Wellness, Restoring Fertility Naturally*Disclaimer: The information presented in this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not to be used as a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider.
We have another wonderful interview this week for Episode 9!  My guest is Daisy Carrasquillo and she is sharing her journey with NaProTECHNOLOGY and infertility, miscarriage, and the birth stories of her miracle boys.  I’m sure that if you’ve experienced infertility, miscarriage, or both, that you will be able to identify with her story.Something that we forgot to touch on in the interview is that our connection goes way back!  We were actually in the same high school religious education class years ago but never interacted.  Then in 2019, after seeing our mutual FertilityCare Practitioner share one of my posts on Instagram, Daisy reached out to me and shared her story.  I was so moved by it and her vulnerability, as I had just had surgery for endometriosis/infertility and we had the same NaPro surgeon, Dr. Michael Jones.  I absolutely love how God works in these stories that are so painful yet lead to such beauty!Your host,Malori Mayor, BSN, RN and infertility warriorSHOW NOTESBio: Daisy Carrasquillo is married to Manuel Carrasquillo, her college sweetheart and they recently celebrated their 6 year wedding anniversary.  She is a stay-at-home mom to her rumbustious and sweet 2year toddler Samuel Elliot and her happy-go-lucky 1 year toddler Daniel Elias. She is a Baylor University graduate with a B.A. degree in Biology, pre-healthcare concentration, and pre-optometry. She holds a Texas teaching license and is a former high school physics & biology teacher. She enjoys reading to her boys, drinking espressos, writing, reading poetry, and spending time with her husband.Read Daisy's story: Part 1 - https://www.warriorlifewellness.com/faith-loss-redemption-part-1/, Part 2 - https://www.warriorlifewellness.com/faith-loss-redemption-part-2/Email me: restoringfertilitynaturally@gmail.comVisit my website: https://www.warriorlifewellness.comFind me on Instagram: Warrior Life Wellness, Restoring Fertility NaturallyIf you find this podcast helpful, please consider leaving stars and a review on your favorite podcast app.  Reviews help others find this vital information on treating infertility using restorative reproductive medicine!*Disclaimer: The information presented in this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not to be used as a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider.

Welcome back, lovely listeners!  Today we dive into what restorative reproductive medicine is and why to choose it over assisted reproductive technology.  We'll also touch on complementary modalities to RRM such as fertility awareness methods and functional medicine.  Get ready for an information-packed episode!Your host,Malori Mayor, BSN, RN and infertility warriorSHOW NOTESMake sure to listen to Episode #1 if you haven't already! What is restorative reproductive medicine (RRM)?Official definition from the International Institute of Reproductive Medicine: "...any scientific approach to reproductive medicine that seeks to cooperate with or restore the normal physiology and anatomy of the human reproductive system.”NaProTECHNOLOGY is the most standardized form of RRM.  It was built on the Creighton Model FertilityCare System of fertility charting.Other methods of fertility charting that work with RRM: Sympto-Thermal (Couple-to-Couple League), Marquette (sympto-hormonal), Billings Ovulation Method.Complements to RRM include: nutritional intervention and functional medicine.Definition of functional medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine: "...a systems biology-based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease..."Why choose RRM over assisted reproductive technology (ART) like IVF?It matters how you get to the end-state of having a baby!RRM respects the life and dignity of everyone involved.  ART does not. This podcast is focused solely on RRM and other forms of medicine that complement it.  This was created because of a hole in the marketplace for this kind of information.RRM doesn't believe in "unexplained infertility."  It's just a matter of finding the reason.LINKS MENTIONEDInternational Institute of Reproductive Medicine: https://restorative-reproductive-medicine.comInstitute for Functional Medicine: https://www.ifm.orgNaProTECHNOLOGY: https://www.naprotechnology.com/, https://fertilitycare.org/what-is-naprotechnologyDaisy's story for "Warriors in the Wait": Part 1 and Part 2*Disclaimer: The information presented in this podcast is for educational purposes only and is not to be used as a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider.
