ROMANS 12:17-21 17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. 19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord. 20 Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” 21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. 1.) PRAY 2.) Letting go is difficult. It's an art, not a science. We teach our kids now to let them go. (Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6:6-9).We as parents hold on tightly because we want to be in control instead of trusting God to lead our kids.

Galatians 5:16-23 16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

As parents, we’re trying to set our kids up for success while also enjoying their day to day.
