Meet Leah

Meet Leah

Leah's extensive background in food allergies includes years of working in patient advocacy at a national non profit (Food Allergy Research and Education), rewriting food policies for top schools in Atlanta, and being a founding member of The Training Epinephrine Administrators in Medication Coalition (TEAM) in Washington, DC.When she's not advocating for patients and their families, she's spending quality time with her husband and two sons, one of whom was diagnosed with eight life threatening food allergies when he was just 6 months old. His journey inspired her to create her institute and provide critical support to food-allergic individuals everywhere so that safety and inclusion become their new norm. Today we talk a little bit about her involvement in the food allergy world, mom burn out when raising children with special/chronic needs, and how we can better advocate for ourselves. Follow her on IG and head to https://www.foodallergyinstitute.com/ for more information and ways you can educate yourself better and find the help you are looking for. You can also download the free burnout quiz and schedule a free 20 minute consultation on the website. Don't fight alone, you have a whole tribe ready to hold you up.  Website: https://www.foodallergyinstitute.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thefoodallergyinstitute/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/foodallergyinstitute/https://linktr.ee/ilenabickley
I have a few theories on what this actually is lol. Humor me. I get into being quarantined, being home with my kids, being an essential employee, social media posts being taken down, and how this can actually help us be better people. https://linktr.ee/ilenabickley

Meet Will and Lucas

Meet Will and Lucas

2020-03-2701:21:37

I have the privilege to have/be worked/ing with these two amazing guys. They are so much fun and SO FUCKING SMART, but best of all, they know their weed. Lucas: "I am 24 y/o and I am from Pennsylvania where the cannabis stigma is strong. I have been involved in the community driven culture for 10 years; budtending for just over 1 year while constantly learning new information on this plant."Will: "My name is William Schusser and I was born and raised on the island of Maui. I ended up in choosing to live in Washington after finishing my degree at WSU. My career in the cannabis industry began about a year later. Through recreational consumption and research I learned a vast amount of information about cannabis. I hope to continue to grow my knowledge and use it to help others understand how to use cannabis."The knowledge that the two of these guys have is crazy, but they help break it down so we can understand a bit more about cannabis. Don't forget to check out this book: "Cannabis Pharmacy" - Michael Backes
It is never easy to talk about childhood trauma. It is something I have needed to face for a very long time now, and I wanted to share my short journey with you. A brief look into what I am having to face and the steps I am doing to heal.
