To describe my brother Noble's journey to being an artist in one word: Transforming. Growing up in St. Louis, you always had to make a name for yourself in some area. Growing up playing ball was it for him. Outside of ball, another passion of his was hidden from most; rapping. When the opportunity of one world shifted a new door open and he hasn't looked back. Since 2018 Rap has become his new sport. From releasing earlier records of his work of God's Don't bleed, NEW 88, and Kunta, you can see that he was finding himself as an artist. Transition into his newer records of 2-Tone step, The Play, Glock Freestyle, and Soul Revolver, you begin to see the confidence of his artistry take over.In this interview, we discuss his newest album SUPER PACK, his journey to being an artist, and his lessons along the way.Make sure to follow him on IG: JustNobeSTREAM SUPER PACKhttps://music.apple.com/album/1570206569?app=itunes&ls=1Support the show (https://linktr.ee/RashadYoung)

Economically 2020 forced many people across the world to think about their life, expenses, and jobs as the pandemic created a rift place.  Unemployment hit historical numbers last year and worse, some people were furloughed which disqualified them from receiving any unemployment benefits. What happens when you're forced to create something on the fly? What 2020 showed many people is that if possible you need to create additional side hustles to create income.  What's beautiful about uncertainty is that you never know where life may take you. My guest today Lauren Harris was in that position last march-like most people. Forced to leave their job and begin finding a new way to survive.  Instead of running away from the uncertainty, she embraced it. Thinking about her passions, she began working on creating candles. What caught her by surprise was the quick success of her candle business and how something as simple to most people as candles can be very profitable and life-changing for her. Now her business Light by LO is thriving and continuing to hit homes of many people daily. If you're interested in learning how to create a business look no further than this episode as we dive into her story and much more.Check out her business website: https://www.etsy.com/shop/lightbylo/ Follow her Instagram :https://www.instagram.com/lightbylo/Support the show (https://linktr.ee/RashadYoung)

Today I was honored to have my guest: Steven Qualls join me today. Steven is a content creator, entrepreneur, and Podcast Host of The Interlude Post and Quallifed TV. One of my favorite things about this conversation was Steven's vulnerability to expressing his experiences as a black man in this world. From discussing mental health and relationships to diving into hip-hop debating and being a content creator. This conversation to me added value to the beauty of growth through expressing oneself from experiences that seem dark in the past.If you haven't already make sure to subscribe to the channel and subscribe to the podcast on your favorite audio platform.Check out Steven here:  https://www.instagram.com/_mrquallified_/ Support the show (https://linktr.ee/RashadYoung)
Season 2 is here! While I'm excited to begin this new journey of the podcast for my podcast family, I feel disturbed by the recent events that happen on capitol hill on January 6th, 2021. Days going into a  new year, we're reminded of the historical issues that come with privilege,  ignorance, and hatred of change. I felt I couldn't do this season without starting off with this issue first. Shelby and I discuss the multiple issues from this recent event and end off by discussing some goals for 2021.As always I hope you enjoy the episode and make sure it rate it five stars. Support the show (https://linktr.ee/RashadYoung)

You'll learn how to master your mindset and deal with emotional issues, how to set and achieve your goals, and how to lead a life of abundance by thinking bigger. Here are the three truths1. You're at fault more often than you think.2. Nobody will believe in your vision as you do.3. You probably don’t think big enoughSupported the blog https://medium.com/@rashadyoungSupport the show
On this episode, I talk about the difference between being a judge and jury of your own life while also expressing my struggle with insecurity. There’s power in accepting one’s struggle and once we get to that place all suffer. It's how we respond to the suffering that matters. But in order to figure out how to respond to it, we have to first acknowledge it. Accepting our struggles, rather than running away from them, is the key to finding peace and meaning in our lives. For many of us, these struggles take place in our headsSupport the show
In today's episode, I discuss the power of living through your perspective. It's true, people have an influence on who we are, what we do, and how we think. Why is that? I discuss my experience of finding yourself through living for others.Support the show
