OMG!
4 mins in and all I've heard is ads ... I know you gotta pay the bills and it's a free podcast but this many ads in a row?
j
absolutely horrifying.
This asshole liked Dick that much?? Awful.
my ex broke intervention orders 6 times....SIX TIMES, and the police didn't care. They actually blamed me! he also had previous incarceration yrs previous. If this had been taken seriously, my child would not have been shared care still, and he would not have had the chance to hit him again. This forced me to 'kidnap' my own child, and have an emergency custody hearing that I did win. we were forced to sell up and move interstate in secret, because police obviously didn't give a damn.
Now this is a reality show I'd watch.
Bill Edgar has a fantastic career! I just bought his book. Thank you for this episode!

Stay away from anyone that's named Dragon. Nothing good is going to happen after meeting.
what crimes did she solve?? none
Impossible to listen to that woman.
"Journalist". I have always been undsr the impression that journalists cared about facts and evidence, not small town gossip. Apparently I was mistaken. Some journalist lol
All the women i know who chose to work at a brothel weren't being cohersed. We had a lot of fun actually .. huge difference between a prostitute on the street and A lady of the night in a brothel
I normally love your podcast- this episode was horrendously one sided. Its clear where this ladies loyalties lie. My comment has no baring on guilt or innocence- You dont really challenge her on any of so called versions she has given. She states evidence is withheld and then 5 seconds later comments that the defence find the information hidden amongst paperwork. Nothing states outright shows that she didnt commit the murder.
Such a great interview!?thank you
This is just promo for a tv doco. You don't really learn much about the crime. waste of time, dont bother listening.
The age difference in the relationship was extremely under explored both then and now. if this was to occur now the relationship would rightfully be deemed predatory and paedophilic in nature. So much hatred was directed at Natasha Ryan as if she was an adult when making these decisions, with no real understanding or exploration of the role Scott played in coercing or controlling the outcomes or her choices. Given the power imbalance due to it being a child/adult relationship I would have thought he should have been held more accountable.
absolutely insane!
"Acid King" real original.
This guy really hates Americans. We're not all rednecks just by the way.
The good old days when we didn't need to know what everyone was thinking at every given moment of the day. I miss it.
OMG! watching Snow Town later on Amazon Prime.
ohh man! identity theft is a crime. Jesus is going to be mad So mad. 😂
This family witness this little girls murder and did absolutely nothing? Why didn't they start to phone the cops? awful just Awful.
" Florida is the state of crazy " I should feel offended because I live here But it's true and I find it funny everytime I hear it. 😂😂
great podcast!!
. aà1!!!
pls stop the BS of acknowledging traditional owners. It's virtual signaling and a waste of time. If you care so much then you are squatters and should leave Australia.
Hello to Jessie Stephens & Richard Guilliatt, This story of Davine's kidnapping & utterly terrifying ordeal at the hands of this violent dangerous individual, gripped me from the start. I want to firstly honour & applaud Davine, for in her terrorising ordeal, she had the fortitude to think rationally to help herself, even though she feared for her life (he did say he would kill her). Richard Guilliatt, I tried to read your piece on this in the Australian but could not I'm afraid (I couldn't afford to pay $84 for one article). So just on how you presented Davine's story here, I'm staggered by your choice of wording throughout. It sounded like you were delivering the shipping news. First up, Davine didn't just have a 'sleepless' night . . . . she had two terrifying, traumatic & fear filled nights, not knowing when he would rape her next, then kill her. She will never get over this, no matter what she says. She will learn to live with it only. She was stripped virtually naked
How the hell are these public crime scenes being cleaned up by the public before being investigated? sloppy police work.
when you say don't look at the photos, guess what people are going to do. And I listened to the appalling tape recording that goes for 43 minutes and listened to the poor kids and babies screaming and crying as the pass away. so sad.
so sad. 4 babies wouldn't just die from cot death all in a row.
very hard to understand
reminds us of another well known con man. wonder if Peter is a Freeman?
a great story. We all believed Shappele Corby and she lied, for such a long time. I think Ausies had no empathy left.
