These two girls are able to explore beyond what most people imagined, finally showing the stone cold truth. They used both stories Towers Falling and “Alone and All Together” to show the struggles and points of view of kids who experienced 911 in different ways.
A podcast in which students Melody and Kaitlyn, Grade 6, discuss how gender identity has many effects on society, especially young children who are still learning and experimenting with who they are. Melody and Kaitlyn explain different points of view from children who struggle with others judging who they are because of their gender choice. They explore how people go through life not being accepted  because of their personalities. They use the texts Symptoms of Being Human, George, Honor Girl and the song “This Is Me.” These resources show a great message about how peoples’ perspectives vary on this topic.
