This week's episode features one of the best programs in Butler County, Leadership Butler County! Shanea Clancy and Cody Slater, participants of the 2022-23 class, to discuss their upcoming fundraising events for their class projects.Leadership Butler County has been strong for 25 years and remains a unique, nine-month program that educates class members on various local issues and topics. A special strength of this program, which seeks individuals who represent a cross-section of the Butler County community, is the diversity of its class members. Each year, the class consists of individuals from the private, public, and non-profit sectors. These men and women are active in business, labor, education, the professions, the arts, religion, human services, health care, and other backgrounds.Shanea and Cody talk to us about the 3 projects that their class is undertaking and the different fundraisers that they'll be hosting this year to fund the projects. The biggest fundraiser is the annual Murder Mystery Dinner that will be held on April 1st.
