HERE WE GO!!!The 'Co-Show Fo Sho' has Matt and Dynamite in the Lone Star State to celebrate Episode 100 with the fellas at the Freedom Friends Podcast. This show hits hard with some great conversation, some ridiculous conversation, some degenerate conversation and then some Army stuff. Nevertheless, we hit hard topics like going months without being employed, the feelings of isolation post service, education and its true value and we even talk about money.Don't miss this celebratory get together from the set of the Freedom Friends Podcast inside the warehouse of Warfighter Tobacco in San Antonio, Texas.
Julian Torres is a Marine Corps veteran who saw his career in the service ended when he stepped on an IED which cost him his legs. That did not stop him however, as he has gone on to climb mountains both figuratively and literally. Today he is a stay at home dad and runs the Coffee with Julian Podcast. Can't say enough good things about this conversation. One real good question that came from it - what cookie would you get up at 2 AM for?
Mikey Fahey is a Marine Corps and six combat tour veteran who wears several hats. Dynamite came across him at the Mammoth Sniper Challenge as he represented his day job with Grunt Style doing special events. On top of that he works with our friend and Vet Pivot alumni, Scott Jenson from Warfighter Tobacco as they co-host the Freedom Friends podcast. Don't miss this great conversation as the guys go into topics from Hand Sanitizer preference, drinking on school nights, deployment stories vs. barracks stories and how to keep your chin up on the job hunt. The episode is authentically veteran. Share it with a friend.

After the Jaguars loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, Sean went in to clean out his locker and say bye to everyone. Eli Bravo is an active duty US Marine from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. His original songs are a combination of blues, folk, and rock & roll styles. The debut single “Carry me Home” is now available on all streaming platforms. Born in San Benito, Texas, he grew up listening to the regional sounds of Tejano, Country, Blues Rock, and Mariachi music. Although he learned how to play the guitar in high school having performed in mariachi and his local church’s praise and worship bands, he enlisted in the USMC and left for a military life in 2001. Throughout the years he has played for many of his friends from Iwakuni Japan, the Pacific Northwest, K-Bay, Cherry Point, and the in Low Country. Eli Bravo credits his ability to play guitar for keeping him grounded and optimistic when things got really dark. It was while he was stationed in Austin, Tx from 2009-2012 that he was inspired to begin writing his own words and music. “I just saw so many great artists come through SXSW, Austin City Limits, and other venues. They would tell me the same thing” he says. “If I have a passion for what I am writing, and a drive for putting in the work, I can do the same.” Now stationed in Okinawa Japan, Eli Bravo, armed with an arsenal of Japanese guitars, is bringing years of experience back to the very streets that shaped his growth as a young man. “I write songs about leaving for the travelers, workers, warriors, and scumbags that can’t always put their emotions into words.”
