In addition to his famous classics of horror and science fiction, H.P. Lovecraft wrote tens of thousands of fascinating letters. In each episode Sean Branney and Andrew Leman of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society read one of those letters and then discuss it.

just found thus (2024), and really enjoy hearing the letters and your comments. This episode, I noticed something odd. You preface by warning that there is offensive content, note with some alarm how offensive Howard's comments are towards catholicism, then proceed to label puritans as 'insane'. Is this not a bit hypocritical? I'm neither catholic nor puritan, and I'm not offended by either comment; my own ideas have been variosly insulted throughout my life, but what is your standard?
