This episode is almost the beginning of alchemy (without ever using the word alchemy)We are now coming face to face with the fear based parts of ourselves... we are noticing the places within us that also carry resistance. There are fear based parts of ourselves that you want to bury and hide and then there are other parts that you try to numb. Sometimes...deep down inside there is a disconnect with fully believing in the life your living. Usually you do not change with radical action until a change is needed.  We see this with health, parenting or relationships in general. Its peeling back layers and coming face to face with the fears that are actually driving our behaviors then asking ourselves if we are strong enough to face them. Some are  ready and this episode will take you one step further into the feeling states and emotional signatures that we create within in order to manifest our desires in the outside world after embracing our current emotions (even fear or resistance). We start by saying "thank you" knowing what we need will be delivered. Its a clear intention and elevated emotion that will allow us to take any situation on the outside and transform it to acceptance and peace on the inside. We open our hearts and make feelings come alive in the present moment. We do not wait for the outside world to change but start with changes on the inside that will then be reflected in the outside world. We can believe in a future within that we do not currently see with our senses. Research in Neuro Science knows we can change our brain just by thinking of possibilities alone :) There are endless possibilities available to us.  We can emotionally embrace our future reality before its even manifested in our physical reality. We can feel free to know that what we have inside of us is all that we need. If we can imagine it.. we can create it by an Image/In/Action. An imagination full of the life we desire. The health and freedom we are looking for is possible. This episode will help us relax and know that the experiences we crave will find us, once we align. (Alignment and Alchemy are the beginnings of what we will talk about in our next few episodes). This episode is jam PACKED with so much (one of my favorites so far bc I really just flow and go deep with all of you speaking from the heart).  EXCITING news this week:: We have started a group for men and women to come together to share their stories of overcoming. More than ever, these are the times to create unity and support for one another. This Group will have mentors, coaches, sponsors and so many with helping hands that have been where YOU are in your journey. Hi! Hope everyone had a great week. I received so much feedback from last weeks podcast (I think its finally opening some of you up and just wait the best is yet to come). So... in the spirit of keeping it real and authentic and staying in the flow I just uploaded another "on the go" episode about creating space after recognizing some of your shadow sides. Here is the thing, the subconscious mind tries really hard to try to protect us from what it considers "dangerous" to the program (your storyline and experiences). The subconscious will often do what it can to keep things tucked away and walled off from the conscious mind. This can lead to some irrational behaviors or actions. The key is recognizing and bringing up the patterns and then making positive action right away with positive intentions to shift the focus on the pre wired negative mindset and into one of positivity. The next few epiosdes we will talk about radical action and change. Would love your feedback everywhere @steflipnisky
Hi guys, in the spirit of keeping it real and also running low on time to remake this episode I am going to follow my intuition and publish this choppy draft I recorded late at night. When I record, I usually take topics from my books and writings and then make some highlights to paragraphs I want to read and then free flow in between. Then I make an episode to get the words out. This is usually my first draft because I have to start and stop a lot but it helps me get the points out. This week I want to publish my draft because it has valuable information and its real and good to practice not having your words or thoughts perfect because this episode is all about sharing and admitting your flaws.By doing this, you allow your ego to take a back seat. You also start to build relationships and authenticity with trust. Many of us do not feel comfortable sharing our flaws because we do not feel comfortable with them ourselves. Once we can conquer the judgement we place on what things are "supposed to look like" and accept what they actually are... we are on the path to feeling free with some of the habits that cause us to run and hide from ourselves  (addictions, self harm, sabotaging behaviors and so much more).Would love your feedback and find me on all social channels @Steflipnisky.
If you are just tuning in, this season starts with Part 1... for better understanding of the flow we would recommend listening in order. In this episode, we are going to talk about rewiring and part of this is understanding how we are wired in the first place. Part of seeing our truest self is actually seeing our shadow, our darker sides. The sides we like to keep hidden from others but most importantly OURSELVES.When we hear dark we often think negative or “the bad.” In reality, its not always bad. We actually can’t see the light without the dark. These sides are a foundation and they are a stepping stone to enlightenment if we know how to recognize our shadow. Negative situations all around us allow us to see our own shadow. Often times the systems we live in allow us to see our shadow. It is part of the game called life. It is our “humanity.” Half of the battle here in our short time on Earth is learning how to love and embrace our own shadow. This is how we find peace and solitude, because we can start to add love and light into the darker parts of our being. This is how to overcome darkness.Beyond the painful moments, we will step into a powerful force from the situation. Our shadow sides show us where a lot of our actions stem from and it is here we can find some of the root of the program. We dive deep into these topics and so much more. Also, please leave feedback if this podcast resonates with you and find me on all social channels @steflipnisky.
This is Part 3 of season 2 ... please start with Part 1 of Season 2 if you are just joining. This episode we will learn how to recognize fear and fear based reactions and talk about practical ways to fill our cups back up vs. trying to eliminate addictions or bad habits. We start the introduction of talking about how this world is a reflection of our perceptions, and how to start rewiring our perceptions.  In Season 2 with a whole lot to talk about! For those of you just tuning in, I have been in the Real Estate Industry of Austin Texas the last 6 years and now I've changed directions to listen to my internal compass and listening to my heart making a way to share our experience, strength and hope together through stories of overcoming. Are you overcoming pain, anxiety, addictions, heartbreak, loss? This podcast is for you! This whole season will be dedicated to going on the Journey Within and how to push through. What does that look like? We will address various topics, from our shadow sides to changing perspectives and talking about the transformation/awakening process. We will explore mindset and motivations of our internal city. We will dig deep into the foundations of how I bounced back from a Rock Bottom with practical steps to taking things one day at a time to a radical change in actions and thoughts.  I know so many people are going through drastic changes right now and will relate to the stories and trust it will bring tremendous value. Each episode, this season gives actionable ways to lead you to a break through and out of feeling stuck. :) Basic truths that we might be learning for the first time, like I did back in 2017. My intention to dive deep into this season was based on the feedback from my community from Episode 2 of last season. It resonated with so many people but they weren't sure where to go after a Rock Bottom. These last five months I have found the courage to break it down and to share. I trust it will resonate. ENJOY! Please listen to part 1 of season 2 before this episode. This season each episode is continuing off of each other so the best results will come from starting with Part 1 and moving through each episode in order. Are you ready for the confusion in your life to be lifted? In this episode, I sit down with Aimee Reed to discuss so many applicable topics for modern parents weighing out all of the basics, the struggles and how to overcome them. We dive deep into Aimee's ability to cope after her sisters death at the young age of 31 and how she found solitude through vulnerability with a community of like minded women. She illustrates how she managed chaos in her home from making ends meet paying the bills, making changes as to how she behaved in front of her five children (from yelling to peace) and how other women mentors were catalysts for her changes during these times raising young children. Aimee highlights the dynamics of a stay at home husband (after her husband James was injured on his job), how she managed to find a job that allowed her to work on her own schedule while homeschooling her kids (yes even high schoolers) and some amazing home advice from her experience as a home organizer. From the kitchen to the chore charts, we cover it all. Aimee paints a picture of tenacity, serenity and vulnerability that allows us to understand how she finds peace in everyday life. If you want to reach out to Aimee after the episode feel free to email her at Aimeereed7@yahoo.com and you can find me on all the major platforms @steflipnisky.Hope you guys enjoy and please leave a review with your valued feedback! In this episode, I introduce to you guys my childhood friend Travis Hughes. We talk about his journey growing up in Louisiana, navigating his emotions before and after his father went to prison when he was a child and the lessons he learned from those moments of adversity. We also explore his career path after being laid off, how he survived in between jobs and how he was able to overcome some financial challenges to eventually own his own business. Last but not least, we explore his interracial marriage with his wife Tamesha and how much he has learned throughout their journey together as a committed couple and parents. Travis also opens up and shares the hardships and challenges that come along with the differences in culture. There are views he shares from an inside perspective as well as how he views the outside voices of society and the challenges that arise with the different voices and opinions. Overall, this episode with Travis is full of encouragement and so much wisdom from his life. He authentically shares his mindset and perspective through so many challenging times and breaks down his decision making process in a way that is truly inspiring for all of us, no matter what we are going through. You can find Travis on Facebook at Travis Hughes. In this episode, I wanted to have a space to elaborate on topics that were popular in my DMs and messages from you this week. Especially after having my first guest on the show, Roger Buraimoh. Many of you know and respect Roger and have heard similar phrases from him such as “just be patient” and “you gotta go with the flow.” It is my intention to elaborate a step further on the take away from those phrases. A few helpful examples of walking through a feeling and not resisting negative feelings. What we resist will persist! This episode is “on the go” while I’m traveling in New York City this week. I intentionally practicing the art of Podcasting on the go and editing or uploading to my host directly from my phone. There is no better way to do this than actually uploading it after a “free flow” talk about “the flow.”Stef in the City will have Alexa “Mindset and Motivation” flash briefings soon so please let me know what you think of these shorter episodes! If you love it, please leave a review and keep the messages coming!
In this episode, I will continue highlighting my story with a focus on the transformation and healing after hitting a rock bottom. Some of the following actions will be highlighted:Finding connections through some trusted friends, the process of writing and self awareness, the opening up to feelings, the limiting of outside voices, plugging into a community of positive voices, craving exercise and sunshine, receptive to universal messages, the understanding of alignment, the understanding of vibrational frequencies, the elimination process of what goes into my body, the rapid increase of synchronicity, asking more questions, feeling more feelings, embracing negative feelings.
In this episode I review my intentions and motivations for this podcast as well as introduce myself and the beginning of my story. http://www.stefinthecitypodcast.com
In this episode, I had the privilege of visiting the Talk2Rami Show where he interviews me fresh out of making some HUGE changes in my career. I decided to leave the business of Real Estate behind to pursue what my heart wants to do! Listen in to see what my heart is craving :) We dive deep into topics like using intuition when making decisions, listening to your heart when something resonates and how some of us go all in when taking leaps. We discuss these topics in depth and so much more, including many of my strength and weaknesses and how I navigate some of these qualities (hopefully you can relate and it will bring you value).I wanted to add this episode to season 1 to close this chapter before we head into season 2 shortly :) If you want to reach out to Rami after this podcast, you can find him on Instagram @talk2rami or you can find him working as CEO of @optictourstudioatx where you can book photography sessions, podcasting sessions and so much more!
In this episode, I spend some time introducing my good friend and co worker Zak Barton. We talk about our journey and how we started working together and the process of building a business (this episode its referring to a Real Estate Business). We talk about the mindset we had to have building our systems, overcoming fears like sending videos to clients, as well as making videos and audio productions for social media. We also address several of the mistakes we made this summer building our systems and in our careers in general but also some tactical ways we overcome them and keep pressing on! Including how we handled loosing over 100K in commissions... Zak shares how he learned so much in such a small window of time and attributes a lot of his growth and knowledge to podcasting and reading from people who have succeeded in his industry. If you want to connect with Zak after this episode to ask him more questions you can email him at zak-barton@realtytexas.com.Tweet me @Steflipnisky and let me know your thoughts on the podcast and please leave a review!
