In the wake of her grief, she created "Baseball for Dad"  an organization dedicated to raising awareness about mental illness. In this podcast taken from a video interview, Louri Snider and Michelle Ferreri delve into what suicide and mental illness is and what is wrong with how we as a society and Canadian medical system handle it. It is a triggering interview but a very powerful one.  We need to change our language and we need to understand that suicide is a a disease not a choice.
