Racism was ingrained in me, and it was up to me to change my beliefs.⁣ ⁣ Racism is a direct result of being disconnected from love.⁣ ⁣ If you are connected to love, if you are in your body…⁣ ⁣ Racism is not a possibility.⁣ ⁣ It’s impossible for you to harm yourself, and it’s impossible for you to harm another.⁣ ⁣ Let’s channel our frustration, sorrow, and grief into action.⁣ ⁣ It’s not black people’s responsibility to end racism - it’s not their problem to solve, nor is it within their control. Because it’s white people, our disconnection from love, and our subconscious beliefs that are the problem. Which means it’s OUR responsibility. Which means we must be the ones to act.⁣ ⁣ Let’s band together, lean on each other, and hold each other accountable with love and respect. The way we raise society’s standards is by raising our own individual standards.⁣ ⁣ For me step #1 has been educating myself as much as possible, learning, and listening deeply to my black brothers and sisters.⁣ ⁣ I’m currently listening to the audiobook “Why I’m No Longer Talking To White People About Race “by Reni Eddo-Lodge. ⁣ ⁣ I’m dedicated to being actively anti-racist.⁣ ⁣ And I’m dedicated to raising my standards for myself. I’m dedicated to connecting deeper to the love within myself, to sharing kindness with myself, so that I can then share that openly with others.⁣ ⁣ Be love. Be kindness. Be the light. It’s more selfish if you don’t practice self-care. Because when your cup is empty, you have nothing to give. You withhold love, not only from yourself, but from everyone in your life, from the planet, from nature, from everything. Everything is energy. The universe runs on frequency. So if your cup is empty and you’re being super stingy and cheap with your love because you have nothing to give, you’re on the frequency of lack and scarcity my dear. And so that is what you get back. If you’ve been struggling and not having a good time, it’s because you’ve been shut off from love and you’re on the frequency of lack. You can’t be on both sides of the fence at once. It’s either love, or it’s not. It’s time to come home to love. It’s time to practice self-care to heal yourself so that your soul feels safe enough to drop in and open up to universal love. It’s time to go within, listen to our bodies, re-connect and rebuild this relationship we have with ourselves. Right now, more than ever before we are seeing how important this is. One of David’s biggest epiphanies that he gained from his journey is that the moment someone changes their perception of themselves and the world around them is the moment that their lives change for good; and so he now helps others create that change within themselves. If you meditate and still feel like shit, do yoga and still feel like shit, do a gratitude journal and still feel like shit… It’s because energetically you are completely shut down, which means you are DISCONNECTED from LOVE. How can you expect to receive a gift if your arms are crossed? If the castle is barricaded and the gate is locked? How can you expect to receive if you’re shutting love out? It’s time to come home to your truth, come home to your nature, come home to love! This is how we open the floodgates - this is how we receive!
What even is inner peace? Inner peace is a choice that we make, and it’s a skill that we continually develop. Inner peace comes from a healthy and happy internal world. It comes from releasing attachments to things outside of you, and understanding that only YOU have the power to create this state, not any personal, place, or other material item. If you picture your internal world like a garden, every day you can do things to take care of that garden and make it a beautiful, relaxing place that you genuinely enjoy spending time in. It’s not about having the “perfect” garden, or ripping out all the weeds. It’s loving ALL parts of yourself - and coming to terms with what IS - even the shadow aspects that we’ve buried. Sometime during our lives we were either shown or told that certain parts of ourselves were not okay. We became ashamed of these parts, and buried them away. But shame blocks inner peace. When you can feel at home within yourself, and love ALL aspects of self, you genuinely start to enjoy spending time with yourself, you genuinely enjoy spending time in your own garden, in your own body and mind, and you relax into yourself. Nothing outside of you is needed because you have everything you need right here, within. When you appreciate who you ARE, what you HAVE, in this very moment, then striving and growing becomes healthy and fun - you do it because you love yourself, and you know what you deserve.

Because when you do, you discover the truest and freest version of yourself. So if it’s time break free from your self-assigned limitations, come home to your truth and remember just how powerful you already are, then this podcast is for you. The name of this podcast is a reminder to myself and to listeners that inner peace is the one true goal we all have. it’s the goal behind every other goal, it’s what we’re all looking for. Because when you ARE at peace within, that’s when you are TRULY boundless and free, and life feels. like. magic.  This is why i want to share with you exactly how i went from someone who was barely surviving, to someone who is now thriving and has reached an incredibly deep level of inner peace. In this first episode, I dive into “The Bali Story,” where I learned some incredibly important lessons about feeling my emotions, learning to simply “be,” learning to set boundaries and protect my needs, and repairing my relationship with myself.
