We’re hard pressed to find a good, solid guidebook as to why and how an independent nation of Texas could and would come about. In this episode I continue my book review series taking a look at “Texit: Why And How Texas Will Leave The Union” by Daniel Miller. Miller is a leader in the Texas Nationalist movement so it’s been an interesting case study so far. This one starts Chapter 2 and I learn his idea about the difference between "secession" and "Texit". It's an interesting distinction to consider. Come along with me as we see what he has to say. The idea of Texas firing its agent, the federal government, for dereliction of duties (amongst many other things) and taking back her sovereignty seems to be a mind boggling pipe dream. I argue that it shouldn't be. I should be as simple as saying, "We want a divorce, we are leaving. Your move." If that were to happen, Texas would be the most prosperous country in the world within 5 years. If we don't we'll be dragged down into the abyss with the other 49. Of course I had to comment on the State Of the Union speech given by Emperor Brandon. I was entertained but reminded in every sentence why Texas MUST Leave The Swamp now. National elections are completely pointless. The evils that the federal government does in our names are numerous but none more evil than war. I have an obligatory subscription to Texas Monthly so that I can keep tabs on what the enemies are thinking in Texas. This home state leftist rag is reliably wrong on most serious and important things so when I saw the article, "Is the Texas Secession Movement Getting Serious?" Amazing the optics of Emperor Brandon's speech from Independence Hall. Surrounded by blood red lighting implying death to all the newly fangled "domestic trrrrists", Brandon declared war against all those who don't agree with the prevailing leftie narrative of the day and dare to speak up about it. Make no mistake, this was a warning and a threat to not step out of line and fight against the global agendas and made up crises. I've talked about energy and monetary security as being the most important things a society needs in order to have liberty and prosperity. In this episode I dive a little deeper into the energy aspect and discuss how true energy security can now only be achieved either through at the very least nullification of any federal law or regulation that stifles Texas' energy security future or, ideally, through outright secession which in my mind is the cleanest path.  Unless you want to continue freezing in the winter or having heat strokes in the summer when the power grid goes down due to idiotic climate policies forced on Texas by Mordor D.C., than the only choice is to Join the Cause for a Peaceful and Friendly Separation.   Be one of The 300. With the recent Federal Supreme Court decisions causing more acrimony in a country already massively divided we need to keep in mind that all the animosity is due to one size fits all policies dictated from on high in Mordor, D.C. The solution to these disagreements is none other than national divorce. This is the most straightforward and effective solution to prevent areas with dramatically different cultures and beliefs from coming to more dangerous blows.  Keep talking about national divorce whenever it makes sense to inject this most logical and mind blowing idea into the thick skulls of your fellow man. I start an exploration into two of the most important reasons to Leave. Texas' energy security is being destroyed by idiotic and evil climate regulations and policies coming down from Mordor, D.C. Sure, she has many of her own idiotic policies but a huge start would be to get rid of the insane lie of humans causing the destruction of the planet via fossil fuels. That lie will destroy our way of life.  Second Texas must control its own monetary future. We can't allow ourselves to be dragged down into the monetary and economic abyss with the USD. We must have a currency that is at least related to hard assets such as gold. A strong currency is essential to a high standard of living but the USD is dying a long and painful death that we will experience as well if we don't Leave, now. Be one of The 300. Are you noticing that the dollars in your bank account don't buy as much as they used to? It's a direct result of the federal government's out of control, reckless and unconstitutional spending and the Federal Reserve's destructive monetary policy which enables it. I am officially totally convinced that secession is the ONLY way forward in order to have any hope of saving ourselves from the inevitable decline and fall of the U.S. It may be too late, we'll see. This situation in Ukraine shows exactly why secession is needed now more than ever. This is a prime example of a country taking advantage of the weakness of a declining super power in the U.S. and if it escalates too far it could drag down Texas (same goes for others states) with it into the depths of hell. Separation and neutrality are the only answers. Texas must control her own destiny and if she does within the next 5-10 years she will be the most prosperous country in the world. No doubt about it. It is timely in its explanation as to why, now, secession is needed more than ever. The longer we wait, the closer we get to an actual bloody conflict. I muse about the Freedom Convoy up in Canada and others that may pop up in other countries. They should be commended but be careful not to be commandeered by the powers that be into an excuse for more power and lock downs on freedom protests that will inevitably come. Just say, FRACK OFF.  I also discuss the new name for the football team in Mordor, the Commanders, which is actually an accurate name representing what comes out of Mordor, only tyrannical commands. That said in reality they should be called the Skeeters since all they are out there are blood sucking predators.  Then poor Beto, the would be tyrant, who's is hopelessly clueless about the real world but smart about how to gain power over your life (not so secret hint: promise your money to other people). There is a nascent movement towards secession in some states with the latest being continued in New Hampshire. Is it the start of a trend or passing fad?
