We hammered out the leaks of CDL rosters, confirmed CDL rosters, and even built a team of our own...kinda. I've been aching to talk about the 2024 Black Ops 6 season for a hot minute now, as well as the future of the title. Only more to come soon. Good day, CoD Logic family. It's been a few weeks since our last check in. Apologies as always! We still have 2 unpublished episodes for everyone, but we found after listening back that most of the details were irrelevant since shifting our upload schedule. If you'd like to hear what we had to say, let us know! If The Walking Dead can post filler content, then so can CoD Logic.
Well, it's official. I am an Elden Lord. So naturally, after completing one of the most intense challenges of my gaming career, I have to show my survival prowess elsewhere. This time it is in the form of Black Myth: Wukong. This game is a masterpiece. The combat is fluid, the visuals are breathtaking, and the storytelling is S-Tier. I encourage anyone who has the means to, to give this game a try. If this is your first game in the genre, remember to be patient and observe everything. You won't regret it!
The formula for this show remains similar to what you know if you've been a long-time listener. Aside from gaming content, we also are gifted in the realm of YAP. Whether it is regarding annoying but successful marketing campaigns, or a vendetta between two gas station co-workers at a local BP gas station, this segment is sure to bring some laughs and generate even a little curiosity.
Lastly, we HAVE to talk about the most recent return of the 2x. We tackle the tug-of-war between our physical & emotional moral compass, and the legal facts. We're not too sure which side we are on, but maybe you can sway us in the comment section. Let's try and keep it respectful!

I'd say we're almost done with the Elden Ring talk, but I'd be lying. What can I say, this game is really growing on me and has taken a piece of my heart. Some of you seem to enjoy me sharing my thoughts on my first playthrough of their favorite game, so I'm gonna lean into it. Stay tuned next week after I proceed through the Subterranean Shunning Grounds, Morgott, and setting the Erdtree aflame.
Black Myth: Wukong is here! Will it live up to the hype graphically, mechanically, and in the hands of the player? The jury is still out, but the public is saying it is a strong contender for Game of the Year. Let us know if you've gotten your hands on it so far and what your favorite thing about it is. SELL US ON THIS, PLEASE. ...We're beggin' ya.
We just made the connection that if you're hosting a podcast, you should probably come ahead with topics. Not really, we're just lazy sometimes... All that said, WE HAVE ONE THIS TIME! *golf clap*. We're back from vacation, folks! The off season is here with the exception of EWC this week! We're yapping about our gaming catalog as of late, and where it is going in the future.
I didn't end up going as hard as I planned to on 2-Boxing or VPNing, but that will probably be coming back in a future episode. Plain and simple, if you're doing either and making a living off of content, be grateful while it lasts & have a back-up plan because you're a joke if you think you're a "good" player. Have some pride. At least TRY and cover it up!

What a journey this season has been… Whether the boys in Green & Championship Whites took it all or not, we are so proud of what the OpTic banner has been able to accomplish this season. SO MUCH ON THE LINE. SO MUCH TO PROVE. SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE. The jury is still out on whether or not Stage IV was a Long-Con, and with Damon "K4RMA" Barlow (Artist formerly known as "DB3", IFYKYK) & JPKrez at the helm I wouldn't count anything out. All hot takes and joking aside, this was something I will always remember.
It's funny to me as I reflect on the last 17 years of my life…over HALF my life, I've been a diehard OpTic fan. I remember joining custom sniping lobbies with Hutch (hutchisy0daddy) in WaW, H3CZ's MW2 Sniping montage, "Mike already took 4 bites, no BS", Chipotle runs, Target Vlogs, Vision…you get the point, this is my group. Any OpTic questions, I know the answer to. This team & the real fans, have become a form of family to me whether they know I exist or not. I'm so happy for everyone within the organization both formerly and currently. They kept me going when I needed a reason to keep going in life. They made me
laugh on days where I couldn't even buy a smirk. I'm so grateful for the friends, family, and listeners that allow me share my love for this industry and team with them.

Oh, hello there! I know, I know...it's been a little while since we last spoke. Don't worry, there's a perfectly good explanation. We're making up for lost time in this one, as you may be able to tell. It was a great catch-up with Kyle, and there are some things he has to get off his chest. For example, just how much he LOVES Elden Ring why he thinks it is a perfect game.
We're also showing love to The First Descendant, and the experience we have had on it so far. Will it hold up? What does the roadmap for the game look like? Will we continue to sing its praises? Those are all questions we are still in search of the answers for, but for right now...we're digging the change of pace, and here's why...
Subliners Sublined in the most Subline-y fashion yet this season. Is anyone else getting Deja Vu?? They're getting hot at the perfect time in the year, much like MW2. The HyDra/KiSMET duo strikes again as they take out Atlanta FaZe 4-2 in the Grand Finals of CDL Major IV. Will the target be on their back? Will OpTic play "Goldfish" and forget about their recent draught? Will FaZe FINALLY put all the pieces together? Find out on the next episode of CoD Logic!
Lastly, we had to address the elephant in the room...Sketch's haircut. Normally we stay away from conversations like these on the show, but it needed to be talked about. As a gaming community, we need to do better. Nobody was harmed, no rules or laws were broken, and everyone has their past. If you can't accept that, continuously go out of your way to judge, bully, and make it your life's work to destroy others, DO BETTER. What a journey it has been since the last OpTic victory at a Major. We cover the entirety of Major III: Toronto in this episode with the exception of Thursday (as covered in the last episode, along with our Tournament predictions).
There's plenty of praise to go around here, who are we kidding. Let us have this one, eh? See what I did there? So well-deserved from all the gentlemen on the OpTic Texas roster and coaching staff. Yes, we are biased over here, but nobody can take away from the chemistry and the performance we saw this past weekend. Watching Call of Duty played at THAT level gave me chills, and those listen ins is why I love this team so much. Everything this organization does is meant to be the highest quality and they certainly delivered. Cheers to the boys, the #GREENWALL for never waivering, and the Call of Duty fans out there. Though OpTic took home the title, the CDL fans were amongst them in being the winners of this event. Special thanks to Toronto Ultra who put on an incredible event, and to the stunning crowd that helped make this a historic weekend.

We tackled a variety of items in this one, folks. A bit less of a linear episode, but an enjoyable one nonetheless (or at least I hope so). Kyle opens my eyes to the trading card world and shares a passion of his, as well as some things to watch out for from a collector's perspective. We also give some love to the Fallout community with the recent introduction of the Fallout TV series available on Prime Video. I heard great things about the revisions to Fallout 76 post-launch, and the community that loves the universe. Needless to say, my experience STILL exceeded my expectations. Give it a try yourself, and let me know if what you'd rate it!
Sadly, the CDL matches were fairly lackluster this past weekend. Don't worry, we still cover them and what is to come this weekend. We can't wait for Major III which will be hosted by the Toronto Ultra, and don't even get us started on Call of Duty: Champs which will be hosted by the #Greenwall, OpTic Texas. Buckle up because we are in for a treat.

What an incredible event hosted in Miami this past weekend. That's right folks, it's time for CDL Major II: Miami. Get your head right, get your hands right, it's time to light this joint on fire. This joint being, of course, Major II.
