Anson Dorrance is a world-renown women’s soccer coach at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and arguably one the best soccer coaches of all time according to Sports Illustrated, ESPN and more. With a 88% winning percentage over 43 seasons, he has been recognized as the Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year 7x. In Dr. Wright's course, “Exploring the Nature of Genius,” Mark learned the traits and techniques alike and different across multiple individuals who have changed the way we view the world. During his tenure at Yale, Dr. Wright served as chair of the Department of Music and the Academic Director of Online Education. His online course, “Introduction to Classical Music,” is the largest online music course in the world. He has published several books on music and cultural history - the most recent being “The Hidden Habits of Genius,” an Amazon bestseller. Yale has recognized Dr. Wright’s contribution to undergraduate teaching in the form of its two most prestigious prizes, the Sewall Prize and the DeVane Medal.
